Maintenance engineering i driftsfasen – fra standarden6.7 Utilization stageThe utilization stage is the operation and maintenance of the item or its planned lifein specified conditions substages. Preventive and corrective maintenance areincluded in this stage and may also include improvements to the physical asset.However, in general, improvements are undertaken in the same manner as designprojects.The maintenance engineering activities in the utilization stage are: support management of maintenance in order to achieve the objectives set bystakeholders; systematic improvement of maintenance programs and other selected failurehandling strategies; update or change of maintenance requirements in response to changing operatingframe conditions; updating maintenance plans and schedules;Yngve Rune Olen Norsk standard, Frokostmøte 23.06.2021page 5
