Scriptures For Prayer CardsAll references come from the English Standard Version, 2001 Crossway Books, Wheaton, IL. When you are praying for someone, use Scripture that describes what you want tohappen in their lives. When you or someone you are praying for is in a difficult situation, use Scripturethat looks to God’s deliverance, in his time. The “Repentance” verses are meant for you (or someone else) who has a besettingsin. Use Scripture that describes the new habit of the heart that you want to see Godwork in your life (or the other person). This is not magic. You are simply taking God’s thoughts and praying them back tohim.
