Senior students and their parents are invited toattend this workshop to receive assistance on filling out and properly completing their FAFSA application fromNorthern Virginia Community College Financial Aid Officers as well as Counselors from both John Champe HSand Freedom HS. We recommend for students and parents to first sign up for an FSA ID prior to attending thisworkshop as this portion of the process may take some time to complete. Please also bring a copy of yourmost current tax year statements with you, it is acceptable to bring last year’s if you have not yet filed. Youare able to update your tax information once you have completed your 2017 taxes.Interested in Taking the ASVAB?January 27, 2017March 10, 2017The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test is administered twice a year for students interested inboth military careers as well as other career exploration purposes. Students can take the ASVAB to assesstheir academic and skill-based levels that match with potential career field placements both within themilitary and non-military/civilian jobs. Students in grades 10-12 are welcome to sign-up and take either of the

ASVAB exams. For those students interested in a military career, test results can be used for military entrancepurposes, however only an exam score taken in a student's junior or senior year will be eligible. Students areasked to be at the school by 7:00AM for sign-in.
