A pro forma budget tool will be of little use unless: 1) It is tailored to the specific case; 2) It isrevised as new information develops during the course of the case; and 3) It is used as a tool for discussing rough riskassessment, not as a hammer for second-guessing. Just as competent representation cannot ignore the realities of costprojections, successful litigation management will be measured by more than cost control. To the extent a good workingbudget has taken some of the surprise out of the process, client and counsel will both be well served.Extraordinary ProjectsAntitrust LitigationBank FinancingConsumer Class ActionBank financingMajor Customer BankruptcySubtotal: Extraordinary ProjectsTotal Legal Spending(Base Business & Extraordinary Projects)This material is protected by copyright.
