As part of the Northglenn High School community, you are a veryimportant part of a large family. We strive to take care of all of our family members, inside of the classroom, inthe community, and in the multiply ways you represent your high school through athletics and activities. You willhave the opportunity to challenge yourself academically, participate in a number of extra-curricular activities, andimpact our school and your peers with your unique talents, personality and intellectual insight. It is up to you toput forth your best effort as you strive to reach your full potential and future goals.The 2019-2020 school year marks the seventh year we welcome incoming freshman with STEM education andthe fourth year of our Early College @ Northglenn STEM students. We are a comprehensive high school andare excited about the educational opportunities our students have within the STEM Pathways, PTECH,Advanced Placement and College Preparation courses.The staff at Northglenn High School is fully dedicated to your child’s personal and academic growth, and we relyon your active participation and support to achieve our goals for your child. We believe that opencommunication between parents and teachers is the foundation for your student’s success in school. Theparent/student handbook and the school website will provide you with important information about our policies,practices and procedures. Parents and students can also access Infinite Campus on our website. InfiniteCampus allows parents and students to access current attendance, grades, and other important informationdirectly related to your student’s education. Please check grades and attendance and discuss both with yourstudent regularly. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the administrative staff.thPlease note the important dates and school information listed in this newsletter. On August 14 we will host ourBack to School open house following freshman LINK from 12:30-2:00pm. We are very excited to meet ourparents and start the partnership in your child’s education. Homecoming week is September 30-October 4. Thisweek is full of fun activities celebrating our great school pride and traditions. We look forward to many alumnireturning to the Northglenn area to help us celebrate. The Powder Puff, the Homecoming football game andthe Homecoming dance will be just a few of the fun events our students will be participating in duringHomecoming week!Northglenn High School is a wonderful school and community with endless potential.
