Camp Hill School DistrictMS / HS GESA ProjectMonthly Progress Report #1June 2019Section 1 – EXECUTIVE SUMMARYReynolds Energy Services is pleased to submit the June 2019 Monthly Report #1 for the CampHill MS / HS Guaranteed Energy Services Project.Work on this project began in mid-May, 2019 with preliminary work on the roof of the building. This consisted of scraping, cleaning and re-painting the existing natural gas lines feeding thesixty nine roof top HVAC units servicing the building, and then disconnecting and re-fitting thegas lines at the units since the new units are configured differently than the existing units were.Following the close of school for the summer on June 7th, work began on removing selectedwindows and frames from the exterior of the building and constructing weather tight temporaryenclosures in their place until new window frames arrived. New window frames began arrivingin mid-June. These are being delivered to the site on an almost daily basis as they are beingmanufactured, and they are being put in place as they arrive. Glass for these units is scheduledto start arriving in early July and will be put into the frames as it arrives. The folding partitions between Rooms 223/224 and 224/225 were demolished and permanentstud and drywall partitions were constructed to re-divide these classrooms. New electricalrough-ins and data drops were installed before the drywall was permanently in place, as well asblocking for the new white boards and smart boards.By the end of June, all of the windows that were planned to be changed out under Phase I hadbeen removed along with several additional window units requested by the District. At the endof June, over half of the new frames had been installed, awaiting glass and caulking. All the newexhaust fans on the roof are in place and the old units have been removed. The project schedule is being updated weekly. As of the end of June, the project is runningslightly ahead of schedule. Looking forward, the new rooftop units are scheduled to be on siteby 17 JUL 2019, and will begin to be lifted up onto the roof on that date. This work has beenclosely coordinated with the mechanical contractor, his electrical sub and the controls sub forthe project. As the units are removed, curb adaptors will be put in place to fit the new units, andpower and controls modifications will take place before the new units are placed on the curbadaptors. The gas lines have already been pre-fitted and can be quickly connected to the newunits as they are installed with flexible connections.
