Cash Rewards earnings are based on theNet Purchases charged to the Cardduring each Billing Cycle. Cash Rewards are calculated at eachtransaction. You earn Base Cash Rewards of 1%(equal to 0.01 for every 1) on all NetPurchases. You earn a total of 2% cash back (equalto 0.02 for every 1, consisting of 1%Bonus Cash Rewards and 1% Base CashRewards) on Net Purchases made at anyeligible grocery store merchants andwholesale clubs. Excluded from thisbonus category are superstores andsmaller stores (like drug stores andconvenience stores) that sell groceriesand a variety of other products.
Page 2 You earn a total of 3% cash back (equalto 0.03 for every 1, consisting of 2%Bonus Cash Rewards and 1% Base CashRewards) on Net Purchases made ateligible merchants in the one ChoiceCategory you have selected. Transactions resulting in fractions ofCash Rewards will be rounded up tothe nearest whole cent if equal to orgreater than 0.005 and rounded downif less than 0.005. We calculate and round Base CashRewards, Bonus Cash Rewards andPreferred Rewards/Banking Rewards forWealth Management Programs (ifapplicable) separately. Eligible merchants earning 3% CashRewards generally include merchantswhose primary line of business falls underthe following Choice Categories: Gas(default), Online Shopping, Dining, Travel,Drug Stores, Home Improvement/Furnishings. When the new account is opened thedefault Choice Category is Gas. A newChoice Category selection can be madeonce per calendar month; however, if nochange is made the category will remainthe same. For example, if a categorychange is made on the 15th of the month,you must wait until the 1st day of thefollowing month to change your categoryagain. Only one Choice Category can beselected at a time. Choice Category changes may be madevia the Site or the Mobile Bankingapplication. Choice Category change will be effectivethe same day (based on Central Time). Choice Category Net Purchases in yournew category made on the effective datewill be eligible for Bonus Cash Rewardsaccording to the terms herein. Choice Category Net Purchases in yournew category that post to your account onthe effective date but were made prior tothe effective date will not be eligible forBonus Cash Rewards.
