He and his wife Ann Ferrell reside in Oxford, Mississippi.Anthony ArmalyGlobal Partnerships Manager, USDepartment of Energy, National EnergyTechnology LaboratoryPittsburgh, PennsylvaniaAnthony Armaly is the Global Partnerships Managerand Regional Workforce Initiative (RWFI) FederalCoordinator for the National Energy TechnologyLaboratory (NETL) of the Department of Energy(DOE) where he works with regional stakeholders indeveloping or promoting workforce and linking it toopportunities in the energy area. As Global Partnerships Manager, Armaly pursues new globalcollaborations on behalf of the laboratory. Prior to joining NETL in 2015, Anthony spent 5.5years with the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) at Wright-Patterson AFB. He has a B.S., inBusiness from Bowling Green State University and a M.S., in Administration from CentralMichigan University.

She also has experience in the fields of experiential marketing andstudent affairs. During her tenure as Councilmember, Vice-Mayor, and Mayor, of Asheville,Bellamy was involved in addressing regional issues in Western North Carolina. Albine BennettCommunications Director, CREATEFoundationTupelo, MississippiAlbine Bennett serves as the Director ofCommunications and Imagine the Possibilities CareerExpo Coordinator at the CREATE Foundation. Sheoversees the overall direction of CREATE’scommunication, marketing, and coordinating ofevents which includes hosting over 7,000 8th gradestudents at the annual Imagine the Possibilitiescareer expo. Bennett has a BA in Managerial Finance from University of Mississippi and anMBA from Louisiana State University. She enjoys giving back to her community through herefforts in volunteering with several organizations in Northeast Mississippi. Outside ofvolunteering, she enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, and spending time with her family.Lisa BrightCEO, Will Bright FoundationFayette, AlabamaLisa Bright is the founder and Chief Executive Officerfor the Will Bright Foundation, a non-profitorganization dedicated to breaking the barriers ofrecovery from addiction. After the loss of her son,Will to a heroin overdose, she and her husband Billdecided to take their tragedy and use it to help thosestruggling with addiction. In 2017 the Will BrightFoundation opened Restoration Springs, in Fayette,Alabama. Restoration Springs is a transitional living facility for men coming out of recovery butneeding help with that next step in life. Prior to her foundation work, she owned and operateda drapery design business for 24 years and was featured in Southern Living Magazine numeroustimes with her cutting-edge drapery designs. She is aRegistered Nurse, a Licensed Professional Counselorand Certified Marriage and Family Therapist. Burgessholds a Master’s Degree in Counseling, a BSN, a BAand an ADN. In 2011 she received the WV NurseExcellence Award for Nursing Leadership and was therecipient of the WV YWCA 2016 Women of Achievement. She and her husband Mike have beenmarried for 38 years; have two sons, two daughters-in-law and 1.5 granddaughters.Willard CaudillYouth Programs Director, Steuben CountyYouth BureauBath, New YorkBill Caudill serves as the Coordinator of the SteubenCounty Youth Bureau, in Bath, New York, and haslived in the Appalachian Region for more than 30years in Mississippi, Maryland, and New York. Caudillleads assessment and planning initiatives to addressthe needs of youth, and collaborates with agency,school, and community partners to administer stateand local funding. His background includes 25 years’ experience in youth and adult education,non-profit and public administration, grant writing, and community development. Ray FarleyExecutive Director, Alliance PickensCentral, South CarolinaRay Farley is Executive Director of Alliance Pickens,an Appalachian economic development organizationhe has led since 2002. He is an economicdevelopment professional with 27 years ofexperience, 25 of which in Appalachia. His work ininfrastructure development, industrial parkdevelopment workforce development and jobrecruitment and retention has positively impactedthousands of Appalachian residents and families in West Virginia and South Carolina. He is thecreator and developer of Scholar Technician , an International Economic Development Councilacclaimed workforce development initiative aimed at successfully developing technicalmanufacturing STEM skills in K-12 students. He received his BA from Bowling Green StateUniversity, MBA from the University of Toledo, and completed the Economic DevelopmentInstitute at the University of Oklahoma. Farley received the Certified Economic Developer(CEcD) designation through the International Economic Development Council. Mr. Farley wasrecently awarded the 2019 South Carolina Economic Developer of the Year by the SouthCarolina Economic Developers Association. He is married to an elementary school teacher, thelone love of his life. They have two grown children who are both health care professionals.Luke GlaserTeacher, Hazard High SchoolHazard, KentuckyLuke Glaser lives in Hazard, Kentucky, where heteaches AP Calculus, AP Literature, Precalculus, andEntrepreneurship at Hazard High School. In 2018,Glaser was elected City Commissioner in Hazard. Hiswork includes modernizing infrastructure andcreating one of the most comprehensive cityinternship programs in the state of Kentucky. Glaseris a graduate of the University of Kentucky (Englishand Hispanic Studies) and is currently pursuing his Masters in Educational Studies throughJohns Hopkins University. Jacqueline GottleibPresident & CEO, Hinton Rural Life CenterHayesville, North CarolinaJacqueline Gottlieb is the President and CEO ofHinton Rural Life Center, a Retreat and ConferenceCenter that engages in community outreach. This isher 21st year in non-profit management. She earneda Masters and EdD from NC State University and BSfrom Western Carolina University. She is an Alumnaeof Leadership North Carolina, North Carolina RuralEconomic Development Institute, and Kenan-FlaglerSchool of Business’ Program for Manager Development. Gottleib is the President of the RotaryClub of Clay County. She is a single mother of three teenagers and in her spare time loveshiking, pottery, stained glass, and traveling.Chuck HammondsAssistant Executive Director, SoutheastTennessee Development DistrictChattanooga, TennesseeChuck Hammonds is the Assistant Executive Directorof the SETDD/CARCOG. He holds a bachelor’s degreein biology from the University of TennesseeChattanooga. His primary responsibility is supervisionof the Community & Economic Development Divisionof the agency. This department of the agencyincludes Historic Preservation, Tourism, Housing,Local Government Planning and GIS functions, Infrastructure Development, TransportationPlanning, Economic and Industrial Development, and the day to day operations of the agency.Chuck has been with the agency for 18 years. Beau HarbinLegislator, Cortland County LegislatureCortland, New YorkBeau Harbin is a County Legislator in Cortland, NY aswell as a Global Manager of Client Success andTraining for Advanced Solutions International. AsLegislator, Harbin is an active participant innumerous committees and boards, includingChairman of the Buildings and Grounds committeeand Vice Chair of the Southern Tier 8 RegionalPlanning Board. He has been engaged on issuesinvolving planning and development, the environment, and criminal justice. As a GlobalManager at ASI, he is responsible for leading an international team of software consultants.Harbin and his family have lived in Cortland for 11 years after having moved there fromNorthern Virginia.Mary Anne HolbrookDirector of Community Relations, UnitedWay of Southwest VirginiaAbingdon, VirginiaMary Anne Holbrook is the Director of CommunityRelations for United Way of Southwest Virginiawhere she leads a team of dedicated developmentprofessionals and serves on the CEO’s leadershipteam. She has worked in all facets of fundraisingincluding donor development and stewardship, grantwriting, governmental relations, and events. Agraduate of Radford University, Holbrook holds a Master’s Degree in English withconcentrations in Appalachian Studies and Business and Technical Writing. Sheis a licensed KY Resident Agent for Health and Life Insurance and is working towards her ProjectManagement Professional Certification.Leanne JohnsonVP & Banking Center Manager of BusinessDevelopment, WesBanco BankPortsmouth, OhioLeanne Kinker Johnson is currently the Vice Presidentof Business Development and the Banking CenterManager at WesBanco Bank in Portsmouth, Ohio.With twelve years of business management andbusiness banking experience, she began her financialcareer with CitiFinancial. She joined WesBanco in2014 and was promoted to Assistant Vice Presidentin 2015 and Vice President of Business Development in 2017. Under her leadership, thePortsmouth Banking Center won the prestigious President’s Club award for “Overall TopPerforming Branch” within WesBanco in 2015, 2016, and 2017. Colby KirkExecutive Director, One Harlan CountyHarlan, KentuckyColby Kirk is the Executive Director of One HarlanCounty, an economic development organizationserving Harlan County, Kentucky. Prior to thisposition, he managed projects for a regionaleconomic development entity covering nine countiesin southeastern Kentucky. He also served two yearsas a Teach For America (TFA) Corps Member,teaching high school mathematics in the TFAAppalachia region. Kirk holds a degree in Finance from the University of Kentucky and iscurrently enrolled in the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute. He is alifelong Appalachian who is committed to diversifying the region’s economy.Bronwyn LucasDirector of Leadership, NC Rural CenterRaleigh, North CarolinaBronwyn Lucas is the director of leadership at the NCRural Center. She has a deep passion for leadershipdevelopment, health equity, community engagementand systems change. She spent several years workingon food systems change at the national level butloves working with communities across NC. Lucas isthe founder and past executive director of YouthEmpowered Solutions (YES!), a national nonprofitthat empowers youth to create community change. Bronwyn’s roots are from Gastonia, NC andSydney, Australia.
