The Illinois Academy ofGeneral Dentistry presentsThe 22nd Annual Ted WeclewMemorial LectureSuccess Where Preparation Meets Opportunity ILLINOIS CONSTITUENTThe Highly Efficient Practice (While Having Fun Doing It)An IL AGD Member Benefit CE CourseSuccess is where preparation meets opportunity. Practiceenjoyment comes from being efficient at whatever level ofdentistry you do. Efficiency is defined as competency in performance while accomplishing a job with minimum expenditureof time and effort. It would be nice if efficiency was just abouthiring another staff member, receiving free supplies or buyingthat magic piece of equipment. Not so easy. It’s more aboutdeveloping a vision of what you want your practice to be,having a well-designed office with great equipment, having aterrific support team, and doing profitable procedures as fastand well as possible. Those will make you a happy practitioner. Those are what we are going to focus on.This course deals with the basics of making the office highlyefficient while focusing on 4 critical areas: the office, the staff, theschedule and the skill level of the doctor and staff. All are criticalfor practicing with little stress, higher enjoyment, and moreprofitability. The best way to flourish in any economy is to offer avariety of efficient procedures that patients almost always needand want. Starting with an office that shows the quality of workyou do and a staff that truly believes “it’s not about me.”It then makes sense that we have a plan in place to keep theschedule full of people who desire our work. This course takes alook at many aspects of everyday practice to promote profitablebusyness while offering procedures that are highly profitable.Date:Wednesday, February 25, 2015;the day before the Chicago Midwinter MeetingLocation: American Dental Association Auditorium211 E.
