Club & District Support (CDS)Update your Interact Club Advisor:Every year Interact club is required to report an advisor by 30 June. Advisors can be a member of the sponsoringRotary club, a school administrator or faculty member, or community volunteer to serve as an adult contact to theInteract club. The information can be updated online by filling the online form. Please note Interact clubs that havenot reported Interact Adviser in the past two Rotary years, will be placed in “Suspended” status by 01 October2019. They will have until 31 December 2019 to report an Interact club adviser or the Interact club will beautomatically “Terminated” effective 1 January 2020.Project FairsRotary’s project fairs connect clubs that are seeking international service projects with those that are interestedin collaborating with global partners. Project fairs typically last two to three days and may include visits to serviceprojects or opportunities to experience the local culture.Who can attend?Any club representative or Rotary member who is interested in supporting an international service project canattend a project fair.INTERACT Video AwardsSubmit your video to the Interact Video Awards . This campaign is based on the simple idea that if every Rotarian make apersonal gift every year towards Annual Fund and participate in a Foundation project, there would not beanything the Foundation couldn’t accomplish.2018-19 Foundation BannersFoundation Banners for Rotary Year 2018-19 and “End Polio Now” Certificates will be shipped to 2019-20District Governors by mid to late October from RI World Headquarters for distribution to eligible clubs.List of winning clubs will be included in the shipments to District Governors.3

Before you start your application, ask your concernedregional grants officer to review your project idea or scholarship nominee. Your grants officer can tell you whetheryour project or scholarship is eligible for a global grant, offer suggestions on what to include in your application,and even work with you to design your project.Grant Center reminderBefore you submit your global grant application, make sure that the grant sponsors are listed correctly in theapplication. It’s especially important to note whether the grant is club or district sponsored. When this informationis incorrect, it delays the processing of the grant, particularly if changes need to be made after the application isapproved. The main objectiveof this meeting is to understand the expectations of CSR chairs and discussion on CSR global grant applicationreview process. CSR team will schedule more such interactive meetings with District CSR Chairs of Zone 5, 6and 7.District CSR Chairs and Rotarians are requested to reach out to CSR team at SAO for any possible assistancein solicitation of funds from Corporate.5

Financial Services (FS)ROTARY CITATION: FY 2020 CLUB DUES PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS:To be eligible for Rotary Citation, one of the criteria is that club must pay all dues within 60 days of date ofinvoice. Also, the benefit of 50 grace balance has been eliminated.To verify whether the club is in good standing or not, log-in to My Rotary and navigate as follows:Click Manage Club and District Administration Club Administration Club Finances Daily clubbalance report. Here, the balance of the club should be “Zero”RI EXCHANGE RATEEffective 01 July 2019, Rotary exchange rates are based on the prevailing market rate as of the first of eachmonth. As a result, it will no longer be possible to send the Rotary exchange rates in advance. While Rotaryunderstands that it is a departure from its previous practice but believes that this is best way to provide a trueexchange rate to its constituents across the globe. Thank you for your understanding. For more information, please visit the Membership Dues page through My RotaryTERMINATED CLUBSClubs that have been terminated for non-payment of January 2019 dues are required to fulfill followingcompliances for re-instatement within 150 days of date of termination: Pay all outstanding financial obligations at the time of termination. Pay all membership dues that continue to accrue thereafter. Communications & Public RelationsWorld Polio Day is a time for Rotarians all over the world to raise awareness about our efforts to eradicate poliofor good. Every year, on this day, we celebrate our progress toward eradicating polio.
