También se puede usar para describir una acción que pasó en un tiempo inespecífico enel pasado.I have visited China.(He visitado China.)En el ejemplo arriba no especifico cuando pasó. Si especificara cuando pasó, tendría queponer el verbo en el pasado.I visited China last year.(Visité China el año pasado.)Nota: Se puede hacer una contracción del verbo "have" nada más con el presenteperfecto (cuando tiene el significado de "haber" - como he, has, han, etc.). No se puedehacer una contracción del verbo "have" cuando tiene el signficado de "tener")I've visited China.(He visitado China.)I have a computer.(Tengo una computadora.)I've a computer.(incorrect)
