External Funding OverviewIn an effort to be transparent regarding relationships with industry and external organizations, theAmerican Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons has developed an annual report that details allexternal funding to include both source and purpose.This report includes all funding received from industry and external organizations, includinggrants, royalties, and all other revenue. It does not include revenue from members, which caninclude dues and sales of products, and it does not include revenue from hospitals that haveelected to be a part of the Academy’s registry program.Any questions about this report should be directed to Tina Slager, Finance Director.
