MEET THE CARDIAC ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY TEAMOF SETON HEART INSTITUTEKristopher Heinzman, MDDr. Heinzman trained at UT Southwestern inDallas before moving to Austin four years ago.He works for Seton and is actively involved inthe development of Dell Seton Medical School.Dr. Heinzman is currently the director of cardiacelectrophysiology for Seton.Mauricio Hong, MDDr. Hong completed cardiology training at UTHSCSan Antonio, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology atCase Western Reserve University and completedadvanced electrophysiology training at Universityof Toronto. He recently moved to Austin to practicein this vibrant community and teach at Dell SetonMedical Center at The University of Texas.Thomas “Bobby” Kurian, MDDr. Kurian recently moved to Austin with his wifeand four kids. He trained at UT Southwestern forInternal Medicine and completed his Cardiologyand Cardiac Electrophysiology training atWashington University/BJH in St. Louis, MO. Hisexpertise is in cardiac electrophysiology andbiotechnology.Stephanie Targac, APNStephanie earned both her Bachelor’s andMaster of Science in Nursing degrees from TheUniversity of Texas at Austin. She has more thaneight years of experience caring for patients withcardiac conditions. Stephanie serves as a boardmember for the Austin Advanced Practice Nurses,a group of local advanced practice providersinvolved in both professional and communityeducation and outreach initiatives.
