Upon approval of requested action #1: That approval be and hereby is given to theAttorney General to appoint Sunniva(Sunny) Mulligan Shea, Position # 9U670,(Appropriation #02-20-20-200510-2616-014-500134) as a Victim/Witness Specialist, at asalary level of 72,644(LG DD,Step 3), effective upon Governor and Executive Councilapproval or October 8, 2021, whichever is later, for a term ending July 1, 2024.EXPLANATION1. As requested in action #2, appoint Sunniva Mulligan Shea at a labor grade DD,step 3 at asalary of 72,644 pursuant to RSA 94:1-a, 1(a); Compensation for Certain State Officers;Unclassified State Employees.Ms. Mulligan Shea, a resident of Hillsborough, earned a Bachelor of Arts in ElementaryEducation from Notre Dame College in 1986 and a Juris Doctor from Franklin Pierce LawCenter in 1999. Prior to attending law school, she taught Preschool and Kindergarten programsat the Montessori School of Bedford. From 1999 to 2014 she engaged in a general law practiceas an Associate at Steven A. Cherry and Associates in Henniker, where she also served as aGuardian ad Litem in criminal cases. In addition to her law practice, she held various positionsat the University of New Hampshire School of Law including Adjunct and Assistant Professor(2006 to 2012) and Director of the Academic Success Program (2004 to 2013). After two yearsas a Victim/Witness Advocate in the Hillsborough County Attorney's Office(2014 to 2016), shejoined the Department as a Victim/Witness Advocate with the Elder Abuse and ExploitationUnit. Ms. Mulligan Shea is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, GreaterManchester Domestic and Sexual Violence Council, New Hampshire Commission on Aging, andCo-Chair of the Financial Abuse Specialty Team.
