Flexible connection methods to suit your businessGetting connectedThe e-Invoicing service is designedto ensure that every supplier has aconnection method appropriate totheir size, IT capability and invoicevolumes.RBS and BAA do not chargesuppliers for connecting or sendingand receiving documents, allowingyou to realise the cost andefficiency benefits as soon as youbecome ‘live’ on the service.The e-Invoicing system has 4 connectionmethods, ensuring that there is aninvoice submission method for everytype of supplier: Webscreen/PO flipA straightforward option for supplierswithout sophisticated accountingsystems. Simply enter the invoice datadirectly into a preformatted webpage andselect submit. This option also allows forPurchase Orders to be ‘flipped’ intoinvoices, pre-filling data on the invoiceand creating an audit trail. ebPrinter Simply install a free piece of softwarecalled ebPrinter onto your PC, then printyour invoice to the ebPrinter virtualprinter and the system does the rest –formatting the data, securing it andsending it to the e-Invoicing system. Manual/Automated File UploadExport your invoices into a single file(usually XML, CSV or PSV) from youraccounting system and upload directlyto the hub in a few simple steps. Largersuppliers using systems such as SAPand Oracle, can send invoices intoservice automatically via secure FTP,HTTP post or web services.
