The outcome of this process was the revision of the curriculum forthe Nurse Practitioner stream in the Master of Nursing program, thusmeeting national standards and addressing changes in provinciallegislation; 2) led the integration of a family-all-ages (primary health care)NP specialty focus into MN program; 3) provided the leadership for thedevelopment and implementation of a formative evaluation of the MN andPhD curricula and learning environment; 4) led development of a MOUwith Aurora College for a collaborative arrangement to offer NP family allages option Aurora College, Yellowknife NWT; 5) led the preparation ofself assessment reports and site visits for program reviews by the Facultyof Graduate Studies and the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotiain Fall 2010.1998-20071997- 2005Coordinator, Nurse Practitioner Program the lead role in developing the proposal for development,implementation and approval of the program including curriculum responsible for overseeing the academic program of each student,coordinating developments to the program, overseeing programevaluation and preparing program review documents. academic advisor for 5-10 students annuallyKey accomplishments: 1) led the program through two successful programapproval reviews with College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia; 2)planned and implemented a monthly continuing education forum,available by distance, for graduates of the NP program; 3) with theDirector, School of Nursing, I submitted proposals for funding of theNurse Practitioner Program 2003-2006 and 2006-2009.Coordinator of the BScN (Arctic Nursing) Program lead role in developing and implementing this innovative program,offered onsite in Iqaluit, NU through a collaboration betweenDalhousie University and Nunavut Arctic College
