Students will explore thedifferences between the two as well as types of conflict, levels andsources of conflict, interpersonal tools to consider when conflictsarise, different approaches to conflict, and a four step model thatguides re-establishing trust between parties. This course concludeswith a group practical exercise.Emotional Intelligence(4 hours)This course explores a different way of thinking aboutintelligence and how it can strengthen our personal andprofessional lives. Emotional Intelligence consists of selfawareness, impulse control, persistence, self-motivation,empathy and social dexterity. Also, explains the history andthe science behind how we think. Provides suggestions forimproving emotional intelligence. Learning what scientists havediscovered can make you happier, healthier and more intuitive,leading you towards a more intellectually enriched life.Flight Leadership Course (FLC)A 3-day orientation for new flightcommanders or similar level leadersfocused on leadership developmentand application at the unit-level.The courses is designed to improveunderstanding of flight commanderroles, duties, and responsibilities.Increase proficiency in key flightlevel leadership skills(24 hours)

Tactical Leadership Course(48 hours)Designed for First and Second Lieutenants to provide awareness ofcurrent AF issues, policies, and mission. Designed to provide thenecessary toolsto develop means to enhance camaraderie and ability tonetwork with a cross section of peers. Course will provide interactionwith senior officers, Air Force civilians, and enlisted personnel.Communication & Briefing Skills(12 hours)In a blended-learning environment of self-paced learning andclassroom instruction, participants will learn to communicateand form messages in a clear, concise, and succinct manner toensure effective communication. Each participant will gain alevel of understanding by seeking input and validating writtenand verbal communication effectiveness.Excel 2013: Level 1(4 hours)This instructor-led course introduces skills necessary fordevelopment of spreadsheets, managing and enhancing multipleworksheets, charts, and graphics, creating simple formulas, andcopying and moving data. Learn how to work ranges, formatnumbers, text, cells, use the office assistant, page setup, autoformat, and online help.Excel 2013: Level 2(4 hours)Students will learn to manage data using advanced filters.Students will complete activities enabling them to learn how todisplay data on spreadsheets through the use of conditionalformatting, pivot tables, and advanced charting features.Excel: Data Analysis and Formulas(3 hours)This instructor-led course provides a hands-on approach to dataanalysis using Microsoft Excel 2010. Participants will learn to createsimple formulas, use range names, auto filter, and financial functionsas well as work with pivot tables and understand worksheetprotection.

Conducting Effective Meetings(2 hours)This course will discuss how to conduct the perfect meetingusing the four ‘musts’:1. Set a HARD objective2. Provide an AGENDA3. Assign ACTION ITEMS4. Keep STRICT time limitsTopics covered include: who toinvite (and not invite), several systems that will help(SharePoint and DCO), and creating a meeting template.One Note 2013(3 hours)This instructor-led course is designed for users who take notes, createcontinuity books, document research, and use automated tools toorganize and manage those documents. In this course, students willcreate, edit, organize, and enhance notes/documents and also integratethem with other applications using Microsoft OneNote 2013.Word 2013: Level 1(4 hours)This instructor-led course will cover basic concepts required toproduce various types of documents. Students will utilize Word2013 to cover basic skills including creating, editing, and enhancingdocuments using formatting and styles. Students will buildpersonalized efficiency tools using the Word 2013 environment toeffectively create professional documents.Word 2013: Level 2(4 hours)Students will create, manage, revise, and distribute complexdocuments utilizing multiple tools in the Word 2013 environment.Students will also learn how to use items such as graphics and chartsfrom various other applications to create professional documents.PowerPoint 2013: Level 1(4 hours)Students will create presentations, insert slides, format andmodify presentation slides, edit graphics, charts, and navigatethrough a PowerPoint slide show.

PowerPoint 2013: Level 2(4 hours)Students will create charts, use tables and Smart Art, insertphotos, apply special effects, customize presentations usingmaster slides, and export PowerPoint outlines.Generations in the Workplace(2 hours)Navigating the generational workplace has become increasinglymore difficult over the past few years. Generations in theWorkplace attempts to explain why. This fun and interactiveinstructor led course guides attendees though the fourgenerations that comprise Wright-Patterson: Traditional, BabyBoomer, Gen X, and Millennials. Attendees will be able toexplore characteristics of each and learn how to combine thegenerations to become stronger and more productive teams.Access 2013: Level 1(4 hours)This instructor-led course demonstrates the basic concepts andpractical applications of relational databases, through the constructionof tables, relationships, and queries. The student learns throughcompletion of various activities to create a database as well as to extractand manipulate data using common queries, forms, and reports.Access 2013: Level 2(4 hours)This instructor-led course offers advanced applications ofrelational databases using Access 2013. Students will learn toextract and manipulate data using advance queries, forms, andreports that will be created through various completed activities.Access 2013: Level 3(4 hours)This instructor-led course provides a hands-on approach to dataanalysis. Participants learn how to create cross tab queries, run macrosto automate tasks, create data validation and data entry macros, as wellas import objects from other applications.Basic Aircraft Fundamentals(8 hours)The overall objective of the training isto enhance employee performance byproviding training that gives the student abasic knowledge of aircrafts in the USAF

inventory. This will include mission, capabilities, fundamental designfeatures, and major systems.Bullying in the Workplace(3 hours)This course defines what bullying is, what it is not, and how bullyingdiffers from harassment. Participants will be able to identifybehaviors associated with bullying in the workplace and discussrecommended strategies and appropriate courses of action toaddress and effectively counter workplace bullying.Fundamentals of Team Building(3 hours)This 3 hour, instructor led course will provide the definition of ateam, the mission of a team, and explain the guidelines ofbuilding effective teams. This course will also identify majorparts of teams, list the roles of each participant, expectedbehaviors in a team dynamic, and state key components ofbuilding effective teams. An activity will then be conducted tobroaden the participants understanding of team building.Managing Learning Styles(2 hours)This course defines personal learning styles and provides suggestionsfor leaders who want to build a strong dynamic team based on learningmodalities as defined by Neil D. Fleming of Christchurch, New Zealandand referenced in AFMAN36-2234 and AFMAN36-2236. This funand interactive course demonstrates the importance of knowing yourlearning style and the learning style of people on your team.The Professional Image(4 hours)This instructor-led course address professional image as it relatesto the work environment. Discussion topics address the threeareas that define professional behavior: attitude, accountability,and actions. Attendees assess their current level of professionalismand focus on those areas where development is needed. At the endof the course, attendees will commit to action items that continuethe development of their professional image.
