Currently she helps to support homecare for Winona Health. She graduated from Des Moines Universityin Iowa. She is certified in manual lymphatic drainage, and is both astudent clinical instructor and a Kinesio Tape certified instructor.She lives in Lewiston, MN.Travis Kramolis, DPTTravis works in outpatient therapy with a special interest in sportsmedicine and orthopedics, with plans to become board certified inthat area in the near future. He also helps to support physicaltherapy in the home care setting. He is a 2006 graduate ofUniversity of Wisconsin – La Crosse and resides in Holmen, WI.Linda Kuhn, PTLinda began practicing in 1982 and currently works in primarily inacute care, serving as the acute lead, with outpatient special interestin women’s health and orthopedics. She is also involved inthe Occupational Health program, focusing on employee injuryprevention and management.Mary McGaver, MPTMary has been practicing as a physical therapist since 2002, inaddition to maintaining her Athletic Training certification. Shesupplements the acute care services of Winona Health and plans topursue physician assistant studies in the near future. She lives herein Winona, MN.Diane Montgomery, PTDiane works in the outpatient setting with interests in vestibularrehab, fall prevention/balance, orthopedics, pain management, andpediatrics. She has also had focused training in strain/counterstrainand treatment of neck and back pain. She is McKenzie certified andis a certified clinical instructor. She graduated from NorthernIllinois University in 1985 and resides in Houston, MN.Stephanie Rae, DPTStephanie graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crossein 2009 and currently lives in Holmen, WI. She is currently working in the home care setting as both atherapist and as the Therapy Home Care Coordinator, with abackground in orthopedics. She is a residentof Dodge, WI.Julie Gregory, PTAJulie has been practicing since 1998 and works in the outpatientsetting with interest in neurological and orthopedic patients. Shegraduated from Western Technical College in La Crosse, WI and is acertified STOTT Pilates instructor. She is the clinical coordinatorfor our PT and PTA students. Occupational TherapyKristin Biesanz, OTR/LAlthough having a diverse background in multiple settings, Kristin’spassion is in providing Occupational Therapy services in the homecare setting. She is a 2001 graduate of the University of WisconsinLa Crosse and has since achieved certification as a LymphedemaTherapist. She lives in the Winona, MN area.Emily Stommes, OTR/LPracticing since 2010, Emily has experience in acute, home care, andlong term care settings, but currently works primarily in outpatientand home care. She is interested in pediatrics, work conditioning,therapy for the shoulder, and lymphedema treatment. She has beentrained in wheelchair assessments. Emily graduated from theUniversity of Wisconsin – La Crosse and is a certified lymphedematherapist. She lives in Rochester, MN.Judy Jorgensen, OTR/LA current resident of Minnieska, MN, Judy received her OT degreefrom the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 1978. She has apassion for serving the acute care patient population. She has stronginterest in assessing and treating cognitive disorders. Occupational TherapyBecky Meyer, COTAAfter graduating from Kirkwood Community College in CedarRapids, IA, Becky has been able to work since 1995 with all ages ina variety of settings including long term care, outpatient, acute care,and home care. Her primary employment is through St. Anne’s ofWinona, but she has been working at Winona Health in a variety ofways since 1995 – currently as back-up support. She lives inGoodview, MN.Barb Parent, OTR/LBarb works in both the outpatient and home care settings but alsohas experience in long term and acute care. She has interest in thetreatment of CVAs and dementia, as well as hand therapy,lymphedema, and orthopedics. She is a certified lymphedematherapist. Barb graduated in 1971 from the College of St. Catherinein St. Paul, MN and now lives in Winona, MN.Brittany Payne, COTABrittany is 2012 graduate of Western Technical College in La Crosse,WI. She supports both acute and home care. Her interests includeall therapy settings, as she enjoys diversity and learning newtechniques. Prairie Du Chien, WI, is where she currently calls home.Amy Prince, COTAAmy is 2011 graduate of Western Technical College in La Crosse,WI. Her interests include outpatient therapy and pediatrics. Shealso supports acute care here at Winona Health. Speech-Language PathologyMegan Karr, CCC, SLPMegan travels from La Crescent, MN to support Winona Health’sspeech therapy services. She is a Master’s level graduate of theUniversity of South Dakota - Vermillion in 2012 and enjoys a widevariety of therapy settings, diagnoses, and age groups.Carol Meyer-Boldon, CCC, SLPCarol has experience working with all ages especially in the areas oftreating stroke, and speech, language, and swallowing dysfunction.With such experience Carol has developed special interest in theadult population, but has enjoyed great success in pediatrics as well.She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in1982 and now resides in La Crosse. WI.Maseray Severn, CCC, SLPMaseray helps to provide back-up support to acute care andoutpatient speech-language pathology here at Winona Health, as wellas working in Lake Winona Manor through Rehab Care. Sheobtained her Master’s degree in 2009 in Speech-Language Pathologyfrom the Minot State University in Minot, MN, and calls LaCrescent, MN her home. Her professional interests includedysphagia and augmentative and alternative communication. She iscertified in VitalStim techniques.

Massage TherapyRenae Budd, MTRenae received her training from the Windemere Institute ofHealing in Decorah, IA in 2008 and is nationally certified. Althoughwell-versed in a wide variety of traditional massage techniques, shehas specialized interest and training in Thai and TuiNa massage. Sheworks primarily in the outpatient setting but also enjoys palliativecare. She is nearing her completion of a Master’s in Public Healththrough the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. She resides in LaCrosse, WI.Donna McBride, MTDonna graduated in 1999 from Sister Rosalind’s School ofProfessional Massage in Rochester, MN. She works with all ages.,from infants to the elderly. She has experience with massage forhospice patients, infant massage, labor and delivery support,lymphedema drainage, Reiki pain management, and reflexology. Herspecialties include deep tissue and Swedish massage. She is workingon specialty certification in geriatrics. Donna is nationally certifiedand lives in Galesville, WI.

She has had experience working with avariety of patients, from the athletic population to assisting withtreatment of stroke and spinal cord injury patients. She currentlyleads our Public Relations Committee. She works in the outpatientrehab department and resides in Goodview, MN.Melissa Heyrman, CRS, Rehab AideMelissa is a 2011 graduate of the University of Kansas in Lawrence,KS, with a degree in exercise science. While her backgroundincludes cardiac rehab, she is currently pursuing her master’s degreethrough the Mayo Occupational Therapist program. She serves a integral piece ofinsurance and customer service support. Cathy graduated from MNSE Technical College and has been working in the secretarial fieldsince 1985. She calls Winona her home.Cheryl Vaughn, Medical SecretaryOriginally from Winona, Cheryl began her experience in 1978working in admitting and medical records. She continued work inthe outpatient therapy department with the special task of scanning,data entry, and scheduling support. She served as an intern with Cardiac Rehab beforebecoming an official employee.Kindra Engel, CRSKindra is a 2011 graduate of Winona State University in exercisescience. She works primarily in Cardiac Rehab, supporting bothrehab and diagnostic efforts, but serves as back-up support for theoutpatient therapy department in a clerical role. She has beentrained in External Counterpulsation Treatment techniques and liveshere in Winona.Danko Jurkovic, CRSDanko graduated from Winona State University in 2010 with adegree in cardiac exercise science. His long-term goal is to return toschool to pursue a higher level degree as a physician assistant.Meanwhile, he supports both cardiac rehab and diagnostics, and he,too, has been trained in External Counterpulsation Treatmenttechniques. Danko is a certified exercise specialist. Originally fromCroatia, he then lived in Germany in his adolescence before movingto Winona, MN, where he still calls home.

Two days a week, you’ll also find Amy supporting theaquatic therapy classes offered by the Therapy department at theYMCA. She is a 2012 graduate of Winona State University and livesin Fountain City, WI.Lynn Sprain, MS, RT, RCEPTravelling from La Crosse, Lynn has been with the Cardiac Rehabprogram since its inception and continues as Team Lead. With herMaster’s of Science from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse,exercise physiologist certification, and respiratory therapist license,Lynn has been practicing in the field of respiratory care, pulmonaryrehab, and cardiac rehab since 1985. She also performs smokingcessation instruction and assists with pacemaker checks in her rolewith Winona Health. She has served as adjunct faculty to theWinona State University Cardiac Exercise Science program and hastraining in External Counterpulsation Treatment techniques .Paul Whitesitt, CRS, CESPaul is a certified exercise specialist. He concluded his training fromWinona State University in 2008 and has served as adjunct facultyfor the WSU Cardiac Exercise Science program. He supports bothcardiac rehab and diagnostics in his Cardiac Rehab Specialist roleand will be undergoing External Counterpulsation Treatmenttraining. Winona is where he calls home.

Occupational HealthCathy Johnson, RN, BSN, COHN-RCathy is a 1983 graduate of the University of North Dakota inGrand Forks, ND and has dedicated a large portion of her career tothe field of Occupational Health. She is certified as an occupationalhealth nurse, hearing conservationist and is certified in occupationalspirometry. She lives here in Winona, MN.Kristy Johnson, LPNKristy travels from Minnesota City to provide nursing support forOccupational Health. She received her LPN degree from MinnesotaSoutheast Technical College in 1993 and has used her degree in avariety of settings to broaden her knowledge of nursing. Occupational HealthMonica Siegfried, Medical SecretaryMonica graduated in 2010 from Winona State University with abachelor’s degree in biochemistry. Her long-term plans are to returnto school and pursue a degree as a physician assistant. Meanwhile,she has served in a registration and medical secretary capacity forWinona Health. She lives in Lewiston, MN.Karen Shaw, RN, OHCRNKaren began her career following her 1970 graduation from theMercy School of Nursing in Janesville, WI, working in arehabilitation department in Madison. Since 1973, she has worked atWinona Health. While she supported pediatrics and themedical/surgical units of the hospital for many years, she has beendevoted to serving Occupational Health clients since 1995 withparticular interest in employee safety. She has since semi-retired, butcontinues to support Occupational Health as needs arise. She is amember of the Minnesota Nurses Association and lives in BuffaloCity, WI.Crystal Stickler, ATC, ATR, CEASCrystal is a certified ergonomist and athletic trainer with a diversebackground in sports medicine, ergonomics, work comp, restrictedduty, and education. She has experience with work space and worktechnique assessment, industrial athlete programs, physical demandassessments, post offer screens, work hardening, and in-clinicassessment and rehab.
