Mendez University (AGMU) is a nonprofitinstitution of higher education located in Florida thatoperates a main campus and four (4) branchcampuses: three (3) in Florida and one (1) in Texas.It is a professionally oriented institution with avariety of offerings, from technical certificates todoctoral degrees. The institution serves a diversifiedstudent body with a variety of economic andeducational backgrounds. AGMU offer programs inSpanish and English. Programs are also offered in abilingual mode, following the 50/50 approach inwhich courses are taught 50% in English and 50% inSpanish. AGMU offers on-site, hybrid and onlinemodalities.For 70 years, the Ana G. Mendez University System(SUAGM) has changed the lives of thousands ofstudents through education. Since 2011, the onlinecampus, has been an instrumental part of thischange; making education available and accessibleto local and international students. The studentpopulation of more than 4,000 is composed ofyoung adults and professionals. The academic staffconsists of more than 15 full-time faculty membersand two hundred (200) part-time equivalentprofessors. The fulltime faculty members holddoctorates and master’s degrees in their fields ofexpertise. Nearly eighty (80) percent of Ana G.Mendez University ’s full-time faculty hold adoctoral degree and twenty (20) percent of parttime faculty holds a doctoral degree.The gender distribution of the faculty is equallydivided.
