It’s timely, it’s realand it’s personal because as far asBrother Copeland isconcerned, he’s writingto his closest friends.Kenneth Copelandlearned the importanceof letter writing fromhis spiritual father,Oral Roberts, who, after explaining theimportance of writingletters to his partners, told Kenneth:“I want you to committo God that every 30days, for the rest ofyour life, you will prayin the Holy Ghost untilyou have somethinganointed to write toyour Partners, just theway Paul wrote to his.”KENNETHCOPELAND’SPARTNERLETTER2 : B VOVIN A WORLD FILLED WITH COUNTERFEITS,THE PARTNERS OF KENNETH COPELANDMINISTRIES HAVE HAD SOMETHINGGENUINE TO COUNT ON MONTHAFTER MONTH, YEAR IN AND YEAROUT FOR THE PAST 31 YEARS: KENNETHCOPELAND’S PARTNER LETTER.“From that time untilnow,” says Kenneth,“I’ve written a letterevery month to myfriends who are inpartnership with me.They aren’t moneyraising letters. I don’twrite them for thatreason. God is mysource, and He meetsall my needs. I writethe letters becauseI want to bless myPartners. Since theyare partakers of mygrace (Philippians 1:7),I want to share withthem the revelationsGod has given me.“I agonize over thoseletters. I pray, and pray, and pray and pray.

HISTORIC MOMENTFirst Partner LetterTHE LORD HAS BLESSEDME WITH MANY GOODFRIENDS OVER THE YEARS,BUT THE BEST FRIENDSI HAVE ARE THE PEOPLEWHO HAVE PARTNEREDWITH ME IN THISMINISTRY. THOSE ARE THEPEOPLE I WRITE LETTERSTO EVERY MONTH.Then I go back to prayeruntil I hear what’s onGod’s heart.“Sometimes it comes tome in the middle of thenight. But one thing’sfor sure—I wait untilI hear from heaven. Idon’t just sit down andput something on paper. As a result, those lettershave changed lives—myPartners’ and mine. Thanks to God, and tothe Holy Spirit workingthrough the ApostlePaul and BrotherRoberts, we have allbeen blessed!”Today, the PartnerLetter is one of the mostimportant ministry toolsextending from KennethCopeland Ministries. It travels the world, providing strength andresulting in thousandsof testimonies ofsalvation, healing, deliverance, restorationand increase.FEB 1986Dear Partner,Recently The LORD has given me a new and deepercalling to minister directly to you, my Covenant Partner, through my letters to you. In the light of God’s WORD,I’ve seen those letters in a new and powerful way. Andno matter how much of my time and prayer it takes, I’mgoing to do my very best to get an anointed, faith-filledletter to you each month to help you live that month ingreater victory. This is my commitment to you.Ever since the Church began, letters have been apowerful tool in God’s hand. He entrusted His preciousgospel to be communicated by letters. These letters byPaul, John, Luke and others carried The WORD of HisPower to His people. They still do.In Paul’s letters, he referred to the times hespent in prayer for the people and then wroteby inspiration of the Holy Spirit. That meansthe letters of Paul and the others God inspiredto write are the Holy Scriptures. The letters youwill receive from me will always be based onand subject to those inspired letters of God’seternal WORD. As I intercede in prayer for you,I expect the Holy Spirit to anoint me with ananointing that is greater than your needs. Out ofthat anointing will come my letters to you.So pay close attention to them. Treat themwith great respect, for the anointing will be onthem. After they have ministered to you, don’tjust forget about them. Continue to think onthem. Give God the opportunity to continueto use them in your life as seeds of my faith foryour prosperity. You have my word, that everything I say I willdo for you in these letters, I will actually do!You know I’ll keep my word.I’m working on your next letter now. I am charged withGod’s power. Be expecting it. I can hardly wait for youto read it. I believe it will be almost like talking face toface. Until then, remember that Gloria and I love you—and Jesus is LORD!Your Covenant Partner,B VOV :3

No matter whatyour circumstances,no matter how big or small your bankbalance, everything you could everneed or want is already yours. It’s notup in heaven waiting to be sent downto you one of these days. It’s alreadybeen released into the earth. It’shere right now; and it will respondto faith in God. It will respond toyour believing, speaking and actingon His WORD because that’s what itwas originally created to do.Ever since the beginning, thisearth and all of its abundance hasbeen on assignment to serve andprosper mankind. Everything on thisplanet was created for our benefit.God didn’t make this earth andfill it with everything good just forHis own sake. He made it with Hischildren in mind. You can see that’s true in the firstchapter of the Bible. The first thingGod did there after creating theearth was turn around and give itto Adam. As soon as He breathedlife into him, God BLESSED himand said: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and have dominion” (Genesis 1:28).Just think! Those were the firstwords a ny huma n being everheard and they settled forever thequestion of whether or not we’resupposed to prosper. The answerwill always be, “Yes!”God never had the idea that weshould go without any of our needsor wants being met. It was never Hisplan for us to just barely scrape by.His plan has always been for us to“be fruitful and multiply” on theearth, and to do so by the power ofthe same force that created it—THEBLESSING of The LORD.“But Brother Copeland, you haveto remember, in the Garden of EdenAdam bowed his knee to the devil. So now everything on earth belongsto him.”No, it doesn’t. Nothing has everbelonged to him. He’s been a thieffrom the start. Everything he’s evergotten his hands on was stolen fromGod and man.The Bible confirms this timeand again. God not only createdeverything on this planet, He stillowns it. As He said in Psalm 50:“Every beast of the forest is mine, andthe cattle upon a thousand hills. Iknow all the fowls of the mountains:and the wild beasts of the field aremine. If I were hungry, I would nottell thee: for the world is mine, andthe fulness thereof” (verses 10-12).God is pretty blunt in those verses. He basically says, “If I decide I wantto use some of the earth’s resources,I don’t have to come begging to youfor them. If I’m hungry and I wantto dine there, I’ll eat whatever Iwant. I own it all!”First Corinthians 10 says thisagain, not just once but twice: “Theearth is the Lord’s, and the fulnessthereof. The earth is the Lord’s, andthe fulness thereof” (verses 26, 28)!One thing in particular that’sincluded in this fullness is all themoney on earth. God says veryspecifically in Haggai 2:8, “The silveris mine, and the gold is mine.”You can forget what you’ve heardabout money being the devil ’s“filthy lucre.” All the wealth in thewhole world belongs to God, andHis intention is for us to exercisedominion over it. His will is forus to prosper and experience thefulfillment of what the Bible says inPsalm 115:14-16: “The Lord shallincrease you more and more, you andyour children. Ye are blessed of thePOINTSTO GETYOUTHEREAs a joint heirwith Jesus, everything youcould ever needor want on thisearth is alreadyyours. Here aresome points toget you there:1God’s plan hasalways been forHis children toprosper on theearth.Genesis 1:282God owns allthe earth’sresources, including all theworld’s wealth.Haggai 2:83The devil stolethose resourcesthrough sin butJesus got themback again.Hebrews 1:24As a joint heirwith Jesus, you too haveinherited allthings.Romans 8:16-175God doesn’tjust give youthings to meetyour needs, Hegives you thingsto enjoy.1 Timothy 6:17B VOV :7

Lord which made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heavens, are theLord’s: but the earth hath he given tothe children of men.”Joint Heirs With the Last Adam“Wait a minute,” someone might say, “ifthe devil stole the earth from man throughsin, how is it possible for us to really walkin the fulfillment of those verses?”Remember what Genesis 1 revealsabout how in the beginning God createdthe earth for Adam? Well, Jesus is “thelast Adam” (1 Corinthians 15:45)! He’sthe first Man ever to be born again fromspiritual death to life. As the firstborn Sonof the Father, God has appointed Him“heir of all things” (Hebrews 1:2), andall of us who have been born again byfaith in Him have been appointed to beWe should expect Him toincrease us more and more,us and our children—andif it disturbs someone’sreligious sensitivities, too bad! It’s possible because of Jesus! It’spossible because He came to earth asa Man and reversed what happenedthrough the Fall.Through His death and resurrectionJesus got back everything the devil stolein the Garden. He not only restoredTHE BLESSING of God and openedthe way for mankind to be born again,He reclaimed all of creation becauseit rightfully belongs to Him: “For byhim were all things created, that are inheaven, and that are in earth, visible andinvisible, whether they be thrones, ordominions, or principalities, or powers:all things were created by him, and forhim” (Colossians 1:16).heirs right along with Him! Romans 8says it as plain as day: “The Spirit[Himself] beareth witness with ourspirit, that we are the children of God:and if children, then heirs; heirs of God,and joint-heirs with Christ” (verses16-17).I realize I’ve already said this butI’m going to say it again: As a believeryou are rich right now beyond yourwildest imaginations! You’ve inheritedeverything you will ever need or want—everything beyond what you can ask orthink—and all of it will respond to faithin God and His WORD.“But Brother Copeland, if that’s true, why do so many Christians strugglefinancially?”Because we’ve been religiouslybrainwashed. We’ve been wrongly taughtby well-meaning but biblically ignorantpeople to think and say things like, “Oh,we’re unworthy ” and “You just neverknow what God is going to do.”Out in West Texas we have aword that applies well to that kind ofthinking: “Bull!”God told us in His Book exactly whatHe will do and we can expect Him todo everything He said. In fact, we shouldexpect Him to do it. We should expectHim to increase us more and more, usand our children—and if it disturbssomeone’s religious sensitivities, too bad!We shouldn’t pull back on believingGod’s WORD just because it shocksa few people. We ought to believeeverything He said about wealth, nomatter how high voltage it might be.Take 1 Timothy 6:17, for example:“Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust inuncertain riches, but in the living God,who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.”That verse could be considered shockingnot only because of what it says butbecause of what it doesn’t say. It doesn’tsay, “Charge the rich in this world togo sell everything they have and give itaway.” It doesn’t tell us to get rid of all ourmaterial possessions and shun this oldworld’s goods because they’re really badand God doesn’t want us to have them. No, as we’ve already seen, the goodson this planet don’t belong to the world. They belong to the Body of Christ andwe should be in control of them. Weought to be so financially BLESSEDthat the world is coming to us for helpand we’re sharing with them. That waywe can show them the love of God byADD YOUR PHOTO TO OUR DIGITAL 50THUPLOAD YOUR PHOTO TO TWITTER, INSTAGRAM OR FACEBOOK,AND USE THE HASHTAG #KCMPARTNER.

Bonus ContentClick here to watch! Why the world needs you to be blessedby Kenneth Copelandgiving to them of our goods.Notice again that last word. It’s goods, not bads. Have you ever heard of a DryBads Store or a supermarket that stockedbads instead of goods? No you haven’t,because the material things on this earththat make life easier or more pleasantaren’t bad, they’re good.Even the world is smart enough toknow that—and so is God. That’s whyHe gives us “richly all things,” not just touse but “to enjoy”!I’ll never forget how The LORDdrove this point home to me. I wasfellowshiping with Him one day and Hesaid, “Kenneth, do I give you things tomeet your needs?”“Yes, LORD,” I answered, quotingPhilippians 4:19, “You supply all of ourneeds according to Your riches in glory.”I thought for sure that was right, butHe corrected me. “No, I don’t give youthings to supply your needs,” He said. “Igive you things to enjoy and they supplyyour needs.”Although that might sound like asmall adjustment, it brought me onestep closer to the way God thinks; andI’ve learned this from experience: Themore we think and talk like He does, the more we get His results.Missing Out by Getting SloppyIt isn’t a challenge to our faith toreceive things from God when we seethem as part of our covenant. It isn’thard to believe for material prosperitywhen we see that God actually delightsin giving us good things to enjoy. Butmuch of the Body of Christ doesn’t yetsee things that way.On the contrary! Many believersstill think God frowns on materialprosperity. They still think they shouldavoid it because of scriptures like these:“For the love of money is the root of allevil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, andpierced themselves through with manysorrows.” (1 Timothy 6:10)“Love not the world, neither the thingsthat are in the world. If any man lovethe world, the love of the Father is not inhim. For all that is in the world, the lustof the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, andthe pride of life, is not of the Father, butis of the world.” (1 John 2:15-16)All too often, people misread thosepassages and come away with theimpression that money and the things inthis world are evil. But that’s not whatthose verses say. They don’t tell us moneyis evil; they tell us that the love of it is evil. They don’t say we shouldn’t have things;they say we shouldn’t love them.“Yeah,” someone might say, “but howdo we really know what we love?”That’s a good question and we’resometimes unclear about the answer to itbecause we’ve been so sloppy with how weuse the word love. One minute we mightsay, “I love God!” Then a few minuteslater, without even realizing it, we mightsee a good-looking new automobile andsay, “Wow! I love that car!”Beware of that kind of talk. Byusing the word love too loosely you candemean it to the point where it has verylittle honor. You get to the place whereyour thinking is muddled because youput God, cars and pizza all together inthe same category, and talk as if you lovethem all the same. That kind of confusion weakens yourfaith. So if you’ve fallen prey to it, go backANNIVERSARY YEARBOOK.kcm.org/50yearbookinto training. Watch your words and ifyou catch yourself saying you love yournew car, correct yourself. Say, “No, I don’tlove my new car—but I do enjoy it!”As you bring your mouth into line andbegin to say what you really mean, yourfaith will grow stronger. You’ll find iteasier to believe God’s WORD. You’llalso find it easier to believe your ownwords—and in exercising your dominionon earth that’s vitally important. Why? Because this planet is designedto respond to the faith of people whohave faith not only in what God says, but in what they say.In Mark 11, Jesus made this crystalclear. He said:Have faith in God. For verily I say untoyou, That whosoever shall say untothis mountain, Be thou removed, andbe thou cast into the sea; and shall notdoubt in his heart, but shall believe thatthose things which he saith shall cometo pass; he shall have whatsoever hesaith. Therefore I say unto you, Whatthings soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shallhave them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: thatyour Father also which is in heaven mayforgive you your trespasses (verses 22-25).That’s the way you lay hold of yourinheritance! You have faith in God andtalk like Jesus’ joint heir! Are you ready to do it? Then go ahead, declare it boldly. Say, “I’m a believer, I’mnot a doubter. I am a faith person. I walkand live by faith. I believe in my heartand say with my mouth that as a believerI am rich! God has already released intothe earth all the things I could possiblyneed or want and they’re included in myinheritance. They have my name on themand I’m calling them into my presencenow: Come, prosperity! Come, healing! Come, BLESSING! Come, promotion! Come, money!“Father, I believe I receive. Ithank You for it, and I forgiveanyone who has wronged me. I’m nota condemner, I’m a forgiver and a lover.I am BLESSED! I thank You and praiseYou, for it, LORD. In Jesus’ Name,Amen!”B VOV :9

Often, he sang forfree; anytime, night or day.It was that willingness thathad landed him his first bigbreak—an early morningappearance on a telethon in1968, two years before hisappearance on The TonightShow. When Len found outnone of the singers slated tosing for the telethon wasinterested in the 3 a.m. slot,he grabbed it as if it were theopportunity of a lifetime.Sure enough, that’s exactlywhat it had turned out to be.At 3 o’clock that morning,a t e l e v i s i on e x e c ut i v e ,unable to sleep, had f lippedon the television set in hishotel room. The nextmorning he sat on the bed in his hotelroom, thinking. Where is the fulfillmentsuccess is supposed to bring?Fame had only made the emptiness inhis soul more profound.Hoping a relationship would fillthe awful void in his life, Len starteddating a young model and co-worker,Cathy Gravitt. Like Len, Cathy hadfound success early in life. She’d begunmodeling in high school and college, winning contests that took her toLondon. While there, she’d been pairedwith 19-year-old Andrew Lloyd Webberand Tim Rice to attend the theater. Thetwo young men went on to composesuch hits as Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats,Evita and Phantom of the Opera.Cathy won “Cincinnati Model of theYear” and traveled to New York whereshe shared a room at the Waldorf Hotelwith Cybill Shepherd. At 21, afterearning a degree in education fromOhio State, she moved to New YorkCity where she worked as a model. Two blocks from where she lived inGreenwich Village, Len Mink sang ata nightclub called the Bitter End. Theydidn’t meet, however, until they wereboth back in Cincinnati.“We met when my mother insisted Itake her to be in the audience of The LenMink Show,” Cathy recalls. “Len askedfor my number and then lost it. Thesecond time we met, I was modeling ina fashion show where Len and JohnnyBench were the emcees. That time hedidn’t lose my number and we starteddating. But we were both too empty tooffer much to each other.”One morning, Len’s producer,Ken Bagwell, walked into the studioradiating a peace and joy Len had neverseen before.“What happened to you?” Len asked.“I gave my life to Jesus,” Ken said.“I have a personal relationship with JesusChrist.”Ken’s conversion to Christianityaffected the station. As program director,he selected the guests Len wouldinterview. Suddenly, instead of moviestars and public figures, Ken beganbooking well-known Christians.“I found myself interviewing ArthurBlessitt,” Len remembers. “The manwalked across the country carrying across and telling everyone about Jesus!”Following the interview, a pale, shaken Len Mink walked over toCathy’s desk. “He prayed for me!” Lengasped, “out loud!”No HopeWeeks later, the emptiness in Len’ssoul felt like a cavern. Having his owntelevision show hadn’t filled it. Screamingfans hadn’t filled it. A standing ovationfrom Johnny Carson’s audience hadn’tfilled it. Money hadn’t filled it.At home, he parked his car and walkedinside like a zombie. That’s what he feltlike—a walking dead person. He foundhis double-barreled shotgun and loadedboth barrels. Sitting on the side of hisbed, he positioned the gun barrels underhis chin, pointing them toward his brain. He put his finger on the trigger. Thesweat on his hands made it slippery.Slowly, he removed the safety.Ready to die, he whispered threewords. “God, help me.”The explosion that erupted inside LenMink had nothing to do with a gunshot. It wasn’t a bullet. It was peace. A peace that explodedaround him. Peace that warmed him andheld him. Peace he had never known. In the holy stillness that followed,Len Mink whispered his second prayer.“You’re really there, aren’t You, God?”Len put the gun aside and threwhimself across the bed, sobbing. “I won’tleave this bedroom until I hear from You.”Amazing Grace“Thirty minutes later, I heard a knockon the door,” Len recalls. “It was Cathy.

She had tears in her eyes, but her face was glowing. Her countenancewas totally different.”“I found what we’ve been looking for,”Cathy announced. “Jesus!”“Where did you find Jesus?”“At Barney’s Hamburger Stand,” Cathysaid, grinning. The following week, Len dreamed thathe was back in the Appalachians. A man, dirty, filthy and dressed in rags, sat onthe porch of one of the mountain homes.Looking at Len, he lifted a violin to hisshoulder and played “Amazing Grace.”Len woke from the dream crying, thehaunting strains echoing in his heart.“That morning,” Len says, “Cathy calledand asked me to go with her to a bookstore. It was a Christian bookstore. While Cathybrowsed, the owner introduced me to FatherTom Turnbull, a charismatic Episcopalpriest. The dream was still bothering meand for some reason, I told him about it.”“I can tell you the interpretation to yourdream,” Father Tom said. “The ma
