MATTBELAIR.COMMATTBELAIR.COMWhat is Lucid DreamingLucid Dreaming is the ability to become aware that you aredreaming. The next stage is the ability to hold that awarenessand navigate the dream realm. Why Do I Want to Learn How to LucidDream? Our subconscious mind, higher self, and the universe all speak tous in our dreams. When we learn to navigate this alternativereality we increase the information we receive from our higherself and source. This leads to increased awareness, a higher levelof intuition and ultimately inner knowing. 2017 Matt Belair

MATTBELAIR.COMStep 1: Set Your IntentionYour subconscious mind responds to ourrepeated intention. Simply be setting a firmintention that you want to startremembering your dreams and becomingawake in the dream state is a necessarystart. You are giving your subconscious mind adirect command. Since, dreaming comesfrom the subconscious, this is an importantfirst step. The more you affirm yourintention with real willpower the quicker itwill happen.Step 2: Set Your AlarmWhen you go to sleep set your alarm for5:00 when DMT is more active in the brain. There is a high probably you will wake up inthe middle of a dream and this will increaseyour chances of dream recall. You can also set your alarm 15 minutesbefore you need to rise and snooze intodream recall. As soon as you wake up beginto write down or record a voice note onyour phone everything you can rememberfor your dream journal. 2017 Matt Belair

MATTBELAIR.COMStep 3: Reality ChecksReality checks are confirming throughoutthe day that in fact, you are not dreaming. The more you do this the more likely you’llcatch yourself in a dream.I suggest using multiple tactics as thedream state is tricky and can convince youyou’re feeling a pinch when you’re not.Below are the most effective ways toconfirm you are in a waking state.Try one of these 1. Plug your nose and try and breathe in through your nose. Repeatto yourself, “If I’m breathing I’m dreaming.” Do this until you can’tbreathe. This is hand’s down the best tactic.2. Pinch yourself in multiple places and make sure you feel it3. Look very closely at a clock and numbers, look away and thenback again. Make sure they are the same. Dream states make forfunky numbers.4. Turn the light switch off and on. If it doesn’t change, guess what? You’re in a dream! 2017 Matt Belair

MATTBELAIR.COMStep 4: Meditation andIntention Before SleepAll of us dream every night but only someremember. The best way to startremembering your dreams is to do aguided meditation before sleep (included)and to keep a dream journal. Before you go to bed mentally repeat andaffirm with intention and energy, “I willrecall my dreams, I always remember mydreams, I realize when I am dreaming, Ican navigate the dream realm.” Thenlisten to the guided meditation and fallasleep.Step 5: Let GoIt is important to stay relaxed and notforce it. If you put too much emphasis orstress on yourself to remember yourdreams, it’s a sure way to keep them away.Simply go through the processes withnon-attachment and soon enough you’llbe confidently navigating the dreamworld! 2017 Matt Belair
