As the load decreases, the feedback voltagedecreases. As shown in the figure, the device automatically entersburst mode when the feedback voltage drops below VBURL. At thispoint switching stops and the output voltages start to drop at arate dependent on standby current load. This causes the feedbackvoltage to rise. Once it passes VBURH switching starts again. Thefeedback voltage falls and the process repeats.
