ACADEMIC WELLBEING RESOURCESTUTORING SERVICESThe DVM program offers an excellent and strenuous curriculum. At times, additionalacademic support is needed. If you would like tutoring for any of your DVM coursesin years 1-3 or if you would like to apply to be a tutor, please contact the AssociateDirector of Student Success.To receive tutoring services, you must meet one of the following criteria: you have apercentage score of less than 79 in at least one course, or a faculty member hasrecommended you for tutoring.To be a tutor, you must have a percentage score of 88 or greater in the course youare tutoring.STUDY SPACESThe college has several popular study spaces. Some are available on a reservation basisas well as on a first-come-first-served basis for individual and group study. Electronicplacards at the entrance to classrooms indicate if spaces are reserved at that time.Placards show red if the space is reserved and green if it is open, and list upcomingreservations. Spaces not reserved may be used as available. Please be respectful andremove belongings from the room prior to the scheduled reservation time. Rooms can bereserved on the CVM intranet by filling out the Space Reservation Form.WATERFALL ROOMThe Waterfall Room (CVM Student Lounge) isa multi-functional study space adjoining theCommons and the Vet Med Library. This spacehas designated hours for quiet study and groupstudy times.Two large screen monitors are available foruse and have HDMI cable hook-ups availablefor student use. Additionally, two PC stationsare available as well.
