(Masterof Laws) programs, foreign-trained lawyers andAmerican attorneys have the opportunity tospecialize and expand upon their expertise. IN INTERNATIONALHUMAN RIGHTS LAWPROGRAM AND CURRICULUMNotre Dame’s LL.M. in International HumanRights Law degree is one of the very few specializedhuman rights LL.M. degrees in the United Statesthat carries the distinction of its nearly 50-yearhistory, global scope, and alumni network, whilesituated within one of the eminent leading lawschools in the United States that has its ownLondon program and access to the ND GlobalGateways. The degree is adaptable to the broadeningfunctions and roles of human rights lawyers,while at the same time embracing the widestscope for universal human rights by situatingethics and moral deliberation at the core ofhuman rights decision-making.
