First night I swear I sawsomeone collecting the animals two-by-two. Last night of camp we were praying forrain. What a difference a week makes!Lots going on in your Chapter in August. Bill is also a member of the Winchester chapter ofTrout Unlimited. Like IWLA, TU is a conservation-orientedorganization committed to the outdoors. Bill’s talk thisevening focused on fly fishing equipment: rods, reels, flies;he emphasized that the quarry drives equipment selection,so the better one knows trout and other fish caught with flyfishing equipment, the better the fisherman’s chances ofsuccess. The audience kept Bill engaged with many questionsto the extent that the regular meeting agenda was shortenedto allow for an interesting, informative presentation. Manythanks to Bill for his generous commitment of his time andfly-fishing knowledge.Your Lake Neff continues to be a thriving body of waterable to support a wide variety of game fish. As always, followthe clearly marked catch regulations. Remember there is nocatch-and-release with trout. If you catch it, you keep it.pHPresident Dan Arico announced that the ChapterScholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) team, the BlueRidge Bullets, has again brought honor to the Chapter bytaking a first-place win at the SASP National Championshipsheld earlier this month in Marengo, Ohio. The Board ofDirectors meeting is at 6 p.m., and the Membership meetingfollows at 7 p.m. Your Board of Directors met on July 21st.
