TregaskisA.Gilmore, W.Liller, F.Farrell, B.Sumner, N.W.Taylor, AAQSummary: VSNET-Alert 461 reports that Kesao Takamizawa has found a new large-amplitudevariable star in Pegasus. It coincides with a 13.0 mag GSC star, GSC 573.00974, which is missingin the Vehrenberg photographic atlas. The observations (somewhat scattered) suggest a Mira-typevariable with a period of about 7 months. The proximity of a good published p.e. sequencefacilitates calibration of a sequence for this star. The AAVSO is producing a chart and sequence.OBJECT - Provisional Details.Name: 222605PegPosition (B1950) : 22h28m43.74s 6 7'23.1"Position (J2000) : 22 31 14.66 6 22 49.0Magnitude: 11.5 - 15.5pDiscovered by : K.
