Units awarded for Advanced Placement exams may not be used to meet the residency requirements for the associate degree. IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT AP SCIENCES FROM IGETC STANDARDS: AP exams in Biology, Chemistry or Physics 1 and 2 (which replaced Physics B) allow CCC campuses to apply 4semester or 5 quarter units to IGETC certification. For Environmental Science, Physics C: Mechanics and Physics C: Electricity/Magnetism, 3 semester or 4 quarter units are applied forIGETC certification; therefore, students who complete these exams will be required to complete at least 4 semester or 5 quarter units to satisfy the minimum required units for Area 5. Students who take the Calculus BC examination and earn a subscore of 3 or higher on the Calculus AB portion will receive credit for the Calculus AB examination, even if they do notreceive a score of 3 or higher on the BC examination.* Note that AP Environmental Science may count for BIO 012 for SCC purposes, but will not count for CSU GE Area B2 or IGETC GE Area 5B.If aIfspecificAP examis notislisted, acceptancewill defaultto the CSUstandard.Consult witha counselor.a specificAP examnot listed, acceptancewill defaultto theCSU standard.Consultwith a counselor.773

Course Identification Numbering System (C-ID)The Course Identification Numbering System (C-ID) is a statewide numbering system that is different from the coursenumbers assigned by individual California Community Colleges. A C-ID Designator next to a course means that the courseis comparable in content and scope to a course offered by participating California colleges and universities. Thus, if theSolano Community College courses are listed below with a C-ID Designator, students can be assured that the courses willbe accepted at a California college or university that offers the courses with the same C-ID Designator. The C-ID Numbering System is particularly useful for students attending more than one California Community Collegesince C-ID Designators are often applied to courses students need to prepare for transfer.Solano Community CollegeACCOUNTINGACCT 001ACCT 002Financial AccountingManagerial AccountingANTHROPOLOGYANTH 001ANTH 001LANTH 002ANTH 007Introduction toBiological AnthropologyBiological Anthropology LabIntroduction toCultural AnthropologyIntroduction to ArchaeologySolano Community CollegeC-ID DesignatorARTART 001ART 002ART 003AART 003BART 004ART 006ART 007ART 008ART 010ART 011ART 014ART 015ART 016Art HistoryArt HistoryArts of AsiaArts of Africa, Oceania, and the AmericasLife DrawingDesign Principles in 2-DimensionsDesign-ColorDesign Principles in 3-DimensionsArt AppreciationSurvey of Modern ArtIntroduction to DrawingIntermediate DrawingBeginning PaintingART - DIGITALARTD 044Introduction to Digital Design ARTS 250BIOLOGYBIO 002BIO 003BIO 004BIO 005Cell and Molecular BiologyEvolution, Ecology & BiodiversityHuman Anatomy with LabHuman Physiology with LabANTH 110ANTH 115ANTH 120 ANTH 150ARTH 140ARTS 200ARTS 100ARTS 270ARTS 101ARTH 100ARTH 150ARTS 110ARTS 205ARTS 210BUSINESSBUS 005BUS 018BUS 110BUS 120CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND FAMILY STUDIESCDFS 038Child Growth and DevelopmentCDFS 050Child Family and CommunityCDFS 053Teaching in a Diverse SocietyCDFS 054Child Health, Safety, and NutritionCDFS 062Principles & Practices ofTeaching Young ChildrenCDFS 063Introduction to CurriculumCDFS 064Observation and AssessmentCDFS 065Practicum in EarlyChildhood EducationCRIMINAL JUSTICECJ 001CJ 002CJ 011CJ 051CJ 053CJ 056BIOL 190BIOL 140BIOL 110BBIOL 120BBIOT 101XGeneral ChemistryGeneral Chemistry IGeneral Chemistry IIOrganic Chemistry for ScienceMajors I, with LabOrganic Chemistry IOrganic Chemistry IIIntermediate ChemistryBasic Organic Chemistry &BioChemistryCOMPUTER INFORMATION SCIENCECIS 020Assembly ProgrammingCIS 021Discrete StructuresCIS 022Programming Conceptsand Methodology ICIS 023Data Structures andAlgorithmsARTH 110ARTH 120ARTH 130BIOTECHNOLOGYBIOT 001Introductory BiologyIntroduction to BusinessLegal Environment of BusinessCHEMISTRYCHEM 001CHEM 001 CHEM 002CHEM 003CHEM 003 CHEM 004CHEM 010CHEM 011ACCT 110ACCT 120CDEV 100CDEV 110ECE 230ECE 220ECE 120ECE 130ECE 200ECE 21077C-ID DesignatorIntroduction toCriminal JusticeConcepts of Criminal LawCommunity and the JusticeSystemCriminal InvestigationLegal Aspects of EvidenceJuvenile ProceduresCHEM 110CHEM 120SCHEM 150CHEM 160SCHEM 101CHEM 102COMP 142COMP 152COMP 122COMP 132AJ 110AJ 120AJ 160AJ 140AJ 124AJ 220COMMUNICATION STUDIESCOMM 001Public SpeakingCOMM 002Introduction to PersuasionCOMM 006Argumentation and DebateCOMM 008Group CommunicationCOMM 012Intercultural CommunicationCOMM 015Oral Interpretation of LiteratureCOMM 050Forensics (Speech & Debate)COMM 110COMM 190COMM 120COMM 140COMM 150COMM 170COMM 160BECONOMICSECON 001ECON 002Principles of MacroeconomicsPrinciples of MicroeconomicsECON 202ECON 201EDUCATIONEDUC 001 OCED 090Introduction to ElementaryClassroom TeachingEDUC 200ENGINEERINGENGR 001ENGR 026ENGR 030ENGR 045Introduction to EngineeringMathematics and EngineeringProblem Solving Using MatlabStaticsMaterials Science and EngineeringENGR 110ENGR 220ENGR 130ENGR 140 B
