2022 ADVERTISING RATESCommission & Terms of PaymentAgency Commission: Bonafide accredited advertising agenciesreceive a 15 percent commission. This also applies to colorpremium charges. We do not offer cash discounts. Payment is duewith the order unless credit is established. All advertising acceptedon a credit basis due and payable according to the terms stated onthe invoice.1. Position orders: We will attempt to place advertisements inline with your preference, but as advertising positions are notguaranteed; we can make no adjustments if and when a positionrequest is not fulfilled. We cannot accept advertising orders whichdirect an ad to be omitted if not run in a special position or on adesignated page.POLICYGeneral advertising rates apply to display advertisers outside of theSan Diego DMA and to any classification deemed by the publisherto be “general” in nature. The following are examples deemed by thepublisher to be general:2. Display advertisement set to resemble news content will belabeled “ADVERTISEMENT”.3. Liability for errors: The San Diego Union-Tribune is liable for errorsin advertisements only when it fails to correct errors plainlymarked by the advertiser on the proof and returned to the officeby the designated proof return deadline. Our liability then shallbe limited to the actual cost of the portion of the advertisementoccupied by the error. The San Diego Union-Tribune reserves theright to adjust in full any error or failure to publish by running acorrected version of the ad as your sole and exclusive remedy.
