Wehave designed anotherballast that enables thetechnician to dim theglobe out completely andassign it to a dmxchannel. more on that ina sec!220 MALE BATES TO 3 FEMALE 220 TWIST LOCK ADAPTERyou can run 3 briese lights off one adapter!!This is aballastdesigned for a2k tungstenglobe. It'scool 'causeyou can dimthe 2k globeoutcompletelyand do itremotely byusing the dmxon the box.just plug inthe dmx, assign achannel andimpress allwith yourdimmingprowess!!!!power cordplug thisinto this!feed this baby with a standard110 volt stinger. can even behouse power. easy!!

handleyourbusinessplayer!dive into that long softcase and pull out theumbrella holder from thezippered pouch, grab a junior standand get busy!!easybriese!!!put the umbrellaholder in a juniorstand,,,,,,,pull the umbrella out, remove the focustube out the back of the umbrella.put the umbrella on the groundsilver side up. Get out the plungertool and press down in the centeras you line up the holes. You willhear it click into place.crazy, dayglow orangeknob on lampright side.snap theumbrellaholder shutwith the redclip.place the umbrella inthe umbrella holder

At the back ofthe umbrella isa small lockwhere the tubegoes in. Makesure it is in thisopen position.get the focusfube and feed itthrough the rearof the umbrella.click the small tube lockclosed to lock the tube inthe umbrellaattach the tube backing to the backof the tube. don't overtighten thelocking ring!!!listen up!!When youattach thebacking youhave to line upthe smallsilver pins onthe tube withthe two brassplungers onthe backing. This isimportant!!!It's part ofthe safetycircut so thelight canstrike!!

grab a globe and stick it in the endof the focus tube. Make sure youstick it in all the way so the spacerbetween the pins pushes in thesafety switch.it's the samefor tungstenand hmiglobes.once the globes are in, wipethem down with an alcoholwipe from the road case. youknow the deal!now get the glass globecover and attach it to thetube . line up the springon the globe cover withthe notches at the end ofthe tube. turn it slightlyto raise up the spring andthen push it in deeper toclick into the tube.notchesstick the globe plate on the end ofthe glass tube and turn it slightlyuntil the supports fit into the flatparts on the end of the tube.

if you are using the yellow briese ballast, line upthe pins on the head feeder and plug it in. Usuallythe yellow ballst is used for the hmi mode.plug the blue end of thepower cable into theballast and the otherend into the 220V twistlock. now plug into your220v power source.turn on thebreaker andthen switch onthe lamp on/offbuttonyou did it!!!nice jobhotshot!!if you want to use the tungsten ballast, just do this.plug thehead feederinto thefront ofthetungstenballast.power it up with astandard 110vextension cord. youcan dim that tunstenglobe out 100%manually or with adimmerboard usingthe dmx inputs onthe front.you have done well. we are proud. read on for more information.

when you turn on a briese lightalways check the back of thefocus tube. Mounted on the endis a small fan which should runwhenever the light is powered up.the fan keeps the air flowingaround the globe so things don'tget too hot and the globe covercracks. Always let the fan coolthings down before wrappingthe briese light!!!when you have the tube sucked back allthe way the light is full spot, pushed allthe way forward it's full flood. Always, always unlock the tube lock beforemaking adjustments. If you don't agiant comet will fall from the sky killingyou and your loved ones!!!!! ok notreally but it will seriously screw up thetube and damage it.besides flooding andspotting there are twoother things a techniciancan do to modify thelumens from a brieselightdiffusers.fold the tabs back to the center of the umbrellabefore sticking them on the end of the umbrellapoles. this makes it nice and tight!!placing the diffusionon this way willallow you to put theeggcrate on.You have to becareful though.in full floodposition the tubemay come intocontact with thediffusion and burnit. So be careful!!

get jiggy and throw the eggcrate on if youneed to.Just insert the ends of theumbrella rods into the sleeves of theeggcrate.with the eggcrate on.ok player. It's been a good day,you did a great job and theyjust called wrap.That'sright.party's over.everybodyout of the pool.time to gohome.grab a cold one and call ita day. but first you have tobreak down the briese light!!easy briese!!first let it cool down a whilebefore taking it apart in the reverseway you put it together. To breakdown the umbrella you are going toneed two items.the plunger stick and the breakdown clamp.

attach the breakdown clamp to the lip on the inside ofthe umbrella.snap it shut so it nice and tight.place the umbrella face down on the floor or against a wall if using a 180 or larger.looking through the back of theumbrella you will see the backside ofthe breakdown clamp.get busy with that plunger!! stick itinside on the edge of the breakdownclamp and push gradually until theumbrella folds up!do it like this!!!well done!!!

once it's folded upstick the focus tubeback in theumbrella. lock thetube lock so itdoesn't fall out!!slide thebreakdownclamp on theplunger andput it in withthe umbrellain the softcase.you've done it! youhave built, operatedand taken apart abriese light. Likeanything else new, thefirst time. takessome time.yes that'strue.nexttime it'sgoing to benothingshort of astone coldgas!!thanks foryourcontinuedsupport!we hope you have enjoyedthis tutorial and found ituseful.
