The Impact of using the TEAMS program onimproving reading skillsResearchersMr. Mamdouh MostafaMr. Wassim Hariz

Research aimsImproving the reading skill in the English language subject for students (thestudy sample) through the use of communication using the MicrosoftTEAMS Program (which is a program that allows communication withstudents, professionally, and tracks the students works and records theirresponse in a way that permits the teacher to get acquainted with thestudents' data as well as their grades accurately. Accordingly, this will – Godwiling – allow them to achieve success in the first semester exams andhopefully the end of the year exams.

This research is useful in the followingmatters:First: For the teacher:[1- I will benefit from this study - as a teacher – since it is a new experience for me Second: For the student:1- Achieving success in the first semester and the end of the year tests in reading skill - God willing.Third: Parents:1- Strengthening the bond between the teacher and the parents, through their communication andcooperation in completing the research at every stage.

The problemOur students encounter many problems as far the English language isconcerned, mainly due to the weakness when learning a language. Thisincludes incorrect pronunciation of English language words regarding all itsvocabulary items. In fact, the reading skill is one of the most importantskills in the English language, and it is really strange that this weakness, insome social means of communications, is discarded. Such means do notprovide the student with accurate texts or greater opportunity to read anddelve into the literature that brings the student to the desired level.

Reflection and Review:By reflecting on the students' work( homeworks—the results of a post-test examination) I concludedthe following:1-All the students improved their reading skill.2-Three students - out of a total of seven - got excellent grades, and improved their levels owing tothe remedial program and the followed steps .3-four students improved their levels moderately or poorly.

Recommendations and suggestions:Based on what has previously been mentioned, and due tothe program's fair success and good results - but which didnot achieve the desired results - I decided to adjust theprocedural plan, and optimize some procedures toeffectively improve the students' level ,the reflection on theresults.

Conclusion of the researchGreat efforts have been invested to achieve this research. Moreover,I have faced a set of challenges, mainly saving time for individualstudents interview, filling out the questionnaire, preparing theprocedural plan, applying procedures , preparing the remedial tasks, the evaluation level, and the reflection on the results as well as theadjustment of the mistakes and the optimization of the results.Against all odds, the pleasure of the research and achievement havealleviated the pain and exhaustion.
