GIFT OF HOPE FUNDThe Gift of Hope Fund supports the work of Catholic Family Services.The Gift of Hope represents what CFS strives to accomplish helping provide hope for those who because of life’s challengesneed support. Through outreach services and counseling, CFS isproviding hope to those suffering from loss, grief, abuse, divorce orother hurts which make life difficult. The Gift of Hope Fund providesincome to support this ministry to people of all faiths, ages and walksof life across Eastern South Dakota at a reduced cost. The Fund,established as a part of the 40th anniversary of CFS, is managed bythe Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern South Dakota.CATHOLIC FAMILY SERVICESSince 1961 Catholic Family Services has assisted the people ofEastern South Dakota regardless of age, faith or circumstance.Founded primarily as an adoption agency, CFS through the yearsadded mental health counseling and a center for grief and loss.Supported by the Catholic Family Sharing Appeal, CFS providesthese services in multiple locations so that services are accessibleacross Eastern South Dakota.
