St. Patrick’s Day was the green scene at Perry. We had 15 coaches traveling north together toGA 101 exit. We stayed at GA Veterans MemorialPark for the night. What a beautiful area on LakeBlackshear. We got together for happy hour andthen headed for the convention center restaurantfor dinner. It was delightful looking over the lakeand the food and sunset were great.Tuesday we all headed out to Perry, GA about 40minutes north to check in. Everything went verysmooth. All of us volunteered to help Fran andLynn with the seminars, so we had great parkingspots with 30 amp and water. We had happy hourevery day with a dinner for volunteers onWednesday night. Thursday some of us went out tofind corn beef and cabbage but didn’t have anyluck. Not many Irish in GA I guess. We had an openhouse for SEA on Saturday night as well with manyyummy things to eat before heading to the show. The shows were very good as well, humor onFriday night, country music stars on Saturday nightand 2 lovely ladies singing a variety of music onSunday night.Nola & Dave dressed it upWe even had a new couple, John & Debbie Maxsonjoin us on Friday night. Judy & ChuckCopeland were also first timers to FMCA rally. Now, don’t forget the rally at Lazy Days, it’s goingto be a great Southern Slow Boil dinner. This isgoing to be a joint effort, all involved will beannounced.ChrisThe seminars were great and very informative.Fran was about 20 volunteers short, so some of ushad to put in double duty. Since we were going tothem anyway, it wasn’t that difficult.Sunday afternoon there was a SEA meeting and theannouncement of our new home in Lakeland, FL.We hope everyone plans on coming in 2017.
