Farbprofil: DeaktiviertKomposit StandardbildschirmPrinciple of operation (see Fig. 2)The medium flows through the valve (1) as indicated by the arrow. Theposition of the valve plug (3) and hence the free area between the plugand seat (2) determine the flow rate. The plug stem (5) with the plug isconnected to the stem (11) of the actuator (10).To control the pressure, the operating diaphragm (12) is tensionedby the positioning springs (7) and the set point adjustment nut (6) sothat the valve is opened by the force of the positioning spring whenboth pressures are balanced (p1 p2).The downstream pressure p2 to be controlled is tapped downstreamof the valve and transmitted via the control line (14) to the operatingdiaphragm (12) where it is converted into a positioning force. Thisp1force is used to adjust the valve plug (3) according to the force of thepositioning springs (7) which is adjustable at the set point adjustmentnut (6). When the force resulting from the downstream pressure p2rises above the adjusted set point, the valve closes proportionally to thechange in pressure. The fully balanced valves are equipped with a balancing bellows (4).The downstream pressure p2 acts on the inner bellows surface, whereas the upstream pressure p1 act on the outer surface of the bellows. In this way, the forces produced by the upstream and downstream pressures acting on the plug are balanced. The valves can be delivered with an St I flow divider. The valve seatmust be exchanged if the flow divider is retro-fitted.p2121162013234Actuator with two diaphragms and diaphragm rupture indicator1552561378Actuator with leakage line connection14For 290 to400 psiFor 145 to320 psi10For 75 to145 psi3535131112Fig. 2.1 Type 41-23 Pressure Reducing Valve, principle of operation313433333432313030Metal bellows actuator (only for valves up to 2”)Fig. 2.2 Type 2413 Actuators, different versions12345678Valve body Type 2412Seat (exchangeable)Plug (with metal sealing)Balancing bellowsPlug stemSet point adjustment nutPositioning springsBellows seal10 Type 2413 Actuator11 Actuator stem12 Operating diaphragm withdiaphragm plate13 Control line connection 3 8“(screw joint with restriction)14 Control line15 Condensation chamber16 Filler plug202125303132333435Two diaphragmsDiaphragm rupture indicatorLeakage line connection 12“Metal bellows actuatorBellows with lower part of bodyAdditional springsControl line connection 3 8“Bellows stemBracketFig. 2 Type 41-23 Pressure Reducing ValveT 251322C:\Samson\ca\T2513ca.vpDonnerstag, 23.
