LAUNDRY MANAGEMENTSIXLM SOFTWAREAPPLICATIONSIXLM has been designed to accomplish operational needs of industrial laundries, totrace efficiently information and to provide laundries with an accurate monitoring toolthat helps keeping high productivity standards. SIXLM provides leading-edge technologies to manage information with the aim of improving daily activities in the laundry. Thesystem can efficiently monitor activities in every area of laundries to perfect progressively their services and results.WEB BASEDMODULARUSERFRIENDLYMULTILAUNDRY

LAUNDRY MANAGEMENTBENEFITSMODULARStarting with basic features, SIXLM can be implemented in time with additional modules accordingto the specific needs of the laundryMULTI LAUNDRYMulti platform, multi database and multi customersINTERFACEABLEwith any device in operating rooms to collect andrecord informationUSER FRIENDLYGuided procedures and simple user interface (touchscreen monitors)INDUSTRY 4.0 READYit is completely integratedand prepared for connection with productionfacilities via the network. The traceability systemuses interconnected RFIDsystems. It improves efficiency and productivity immediately, allowinggreater control over business processes.WEBUsers can log into the system using a standardbrowser from any workstation within the corporate intranet or using the Internet if they are outside of the hospital. No client installation required.SECURITY & PRIVACYSystem administrators can grant, deny and checkauthorizations to access the system and configure security policies (even the more sophisticatedones), avoiding the access to unauthorized users.Effective and timely checks andtraceability of linen and garments to limittheir lossesThe system can be interfaced with anydevice and software application (both localthan remote) used in laundriesImprovement of the overall efficiency ofthe laundrySYSTEM FEATURESModularity is SIXLM’s main feature: the different areas of the laundry are provided with different modulesthat cover all its different needs.Modules can be easily activated or deactivated andthey allow to better configure the system according tocustomers’ requirements and the types of activities toperform. This modular architecture allows the systemto be easily modified in time because of future improvements and/or to different needs of the laundry.Recording information in the production and the shipment area, in the warehouse and tracking timesbetween the different areas and in production allowSIXLM to define precisely production costs for costcentre. results in line with business needs reliable information and data entirety traceability and backward traceabilityof user activities and material handling real time monitoring and analysisof the different areas of the laundry system procedures can be designedusing parameters and modules procedure automation avoidingunnecessary steps effective information sharingwith customers3

LAUNDRY MANAGEMENTSYSTEM WORKFLOWThe SIXLM Laundry Management is a complete solutionfor the management of traceability in the processes ofreconditioning and washing of garments linked to:This feature stems from the awareness of having toprovide to the Laundry a single work tool and each production site can decide the modules to be activated. Flat linenThe production process can be parameterized in order todefine different production procedures and control levelsfor the different laundries. For every product or group, special procedures can be defined as well. LAUNDRY MANAGEMENTLINEN DISTRIBUTIONLinen to be destined to the single wards are indicated incustomers’ contracts, specifically:Once the contract is recorded in the system, SIXLMallows users to record key parameters such as: items to deliver to the different wards basic information for service invoicing(quantities, rates, number of operators,.)EQUIPMENTReceptionof dirty linenWashingUHF readingon loading bandin the air plantShipmentof dirty linenRULES FOR WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENTsuch as safety stocks, minimum quantities for backorders in other words all the important informationneeded to provide supplies to the different wardsaccording to the quantity of dirty linen delivered back tothe laundry.PackagingUHF readingtunnel in thepackaging areaDelivery tostocking pointsStarting from contracts and equipments, the system creates pick-up lists that are essential to manage the warehouse. Warehouse picking is done according to defined pick-up lists. The census of linen can be done usingreading tunnels and then matching read tags to itemsselected by the operator.Contracts are used to steer the census but linen equipped with tags can be shipped to any customer if its contract states that.Linen are now ready to be dispatched and operatorscan issue delivery notes.ShipmentUHF reading tunnel inthe delivery area of thelaundryReceptionof clean linenThe reception of dirty linen is done using RFID tags inreading tunnels that allow operators to: identify received items load/unload the warehouse (load of supplierwarehouse and unload of customer warehouse). calculation of used linen request supplies issuing supply orders.Simultaneously operators can use proper functions tosupervise and manage quality checks on linen.5

Warehouse picking is done according todefined pick-up lists. The census of linen can be done using reading tunnelsand then matching read tags to items selected by theoperator.

LAUNDRY MANAGEMENTWhen garments are assigned to operators, the systemcreates an internal garment code that is matched with atag (when provided); the system allows operators to printan identification barcode tag too. Operators in charge ofdistribution can then print the delivery note and ship garments to the customer. The status of garments and theirassignation can be checked in real-time both:Garments’ delivery and pick-up can be easily managed thanks to the system integration with automated cabinets installed at customers’ premises.Every employee can be provided with a badge thatallows him/her to pick-up the required garments.Every operators can benefit of a credit that matches the equipment provided in contracts in otherwords how many uniforms (with type and size) he/she can have. In this way operators can pick-upclean uniforms only if he/she has some credit left.In this way the system guarantees the completetraceability of operators performed by operatorsusing his/her badge (including date, time and working times) as well as load/unload of the warehouse using the automated cabinet. Proper functionsto supervise and manage quality checks on garments can be performed as well.for single operator you can check which and how manygarments are assigned to the different operators and theirstatus as well as define if every operator has all garmentsin its equipment or if someone needs suppliesfor all operators garments assigned to operators can bechecked in terms of size and model and the delivery ofclean garments / collection of the dirty ones can be managed using automated cabinets installed at customers’premises.MANAGEMENT CONTROL ANDINDUSTRIAL ACCOUNTINGSIXLMBy acquiring production, warehouse and shipping dataand detecting transit and processing times, the system isable to process production costs by cost center.ERPLEGACYSYSTEMSDATA COLLECTIONIn a company, the management control allows toguide the achievement of the objectives established during the operational planning, detecting, through the measurement of specific indicators, the deviation between planned and results achieved and informing the relevant bodies of thesedeviations, so that they can decide and implementthe appropriate corrective actions. The system, possibly integrated with the managementsolution, will be able to provide all the necessary statistics for the detection of production costs related to: operating times and costsmachine time and costsproduction times and costsprocessing times and order deliveryHARDWARE DEVICESClean linen distributionautomatic systemsTouchscreenmonitorsDirty linen collectionautomatic systemsMobiledevicesRFID identificationdevicesBarcodeprinters7
