At just the righttime, Reece Stigler, our first president, asked me to join a group ofpeople that were about to charter as a Rotary club. Shortly thereafter, they did charter as the Four Peaks Rotary Club and I became a chartermember. I knew right away that Rotary was the place to be.Over the years my knowledge of Rotary increased, which justreinforced my feeling about Rotary. I’ve served on the board for severalyears, two different times. I was the club president in the 2012-2013year, and was Rotarian of the Year twice. Sherry and I went to two RotayInternational conventions, one in New Orleans and one in Sydney,Australia. Overall, my Rotary experience has been super.
