Appendix 12Finance31 March 2020Coleg funds at theend of the year2,86931 March 20192,589 Of the Coleg’s total budget, 74% ( 4.969 million) wasspent on activities in universities, colleges andeducational institutions. A significant proportion of the funding was spent onnational activities in collaboration with universities andcolleges to implement the Coleg’s strategy. Coleg reserves have been significantly affected by thechange in USS provision of (0.275) million ( 0.465 million in2018/9), and Coleg reserves have therefore increased to 2.87 million, which is consistent with the Coleg’sreserves policy.
