WARNING1 To prevent electrical shock, never open the external110 VAC power cable adapter, and never touch the ACplug while operating the DAGR.CONTACT Use only fresh, new batteries to ensure proper battery lifeand proper unit operation. Never mix old and newbatteries. Never mix battery types.CONDITION EXTERNAL POWER – Even though the DAGR is protectedin case of a polarity error, ensure that you install theexternal DC power cable with the correct polarity.Reversing polarity could damage the DAGR even with theprotection in place. Ensure that the positive (red) lead onthe DC power cable connects to the positive lead on theexternaltl power source. INTERNAL POWER - Always install batteries with thecorrect polarity (pointed the right way). Installing thembackwards could damageg both batteries and receiver.POLARITYIf abused, lithium batteries can explode, causing severeinjury. Be sure to store them in the original packaginguntil you are ready to use them.and cautions.Note: See TO 31R4-2PSN13-8-1 for a complete list of warningsSAFETY

2 To enable DAGR operation during spoofing, thereceiver must be loaded with current crypto keys.SPOOFING To avoid accidental jamming from sources of highpower electronic emissions, move away from them andverify operation.INTERFERENCE / JAMMING A high level of position error may place a mission atrisk. Verify that the FOM/EHE level is sufficient toaccomplish the mission. Refer to Present Position orNAV Displays pages for the current FOM.ERRORS The current position ensures accurately navigatingwaypoints and routes. When position data fields blink between black and graytext the DAGR is not tracking satellites or has not yettext, acquired present position. Field data may be inaccuratewhen the DAGR does not have a position fix. Be surethe DAGR has an open view of the sky to acquire thepresent position. If the position data fields continue toblink, perform the manual initialization procedure.CURRENT POSITION(continued)SAFETY
