Monitoring and Controlling Pro!ect IntegrationWest Virginia High School (WVHS) houses grades 9-12 with 420 students.The profile requires implementation of the bidder's proposed solution to this RFP, including prime vendor responsibilitiesproposed for 4.4.1. The bidder will participate in a mandatory, secondary evaluation (See 4.4.1.7.1.) pre-bid meetingwith county and school personnel at the school location. The bidder will determine the technology needs for items to beprocured from the contract. The bidder will complete a site survey walk through in order to produce a design of networkinfrastructure (server, electronics, wireless, and cabling). The bidder will develop a proposed configuration, including ERate funding if available, and will send the proposed Bill of Materials (BOM) electronically to the WVDE CRM within 21days of the planning meeting. The bidder will procure, ship, deliver, and install all products purchased as part of theprofile. The bidder will coordinate delivery of product and will assume technical responsibility for successfulimplementation of the project components. The systems will be installed within contract timelines.Hardware. Network Cabling:For purposes of the cost profile please use CAT6A cable. In addition to the network cabling and electronics requiredfor the cost profile, the bidder is asked to upgrade all cabling drops to CAT6A and to migrate all electronics to Layer 3.The bidder shall provide the cost of network cable drops and drops for the wireless access points as specified aboveand in the School Installation Detail Map.For purposes of the profile only, the bidder assumes that the ceiling is suspended tile. All cabling above the ceiling isto be in cable trays, which are in place. All cabling below the ceiling, except for patch cables, is to be in conduit and/orpanduit.
