God Made Me.I’m a special person.God made me differentfrom anyone else. Noone else is exactly likeme. No one acts justlike me. No one thinksjust like me. I am one ofa kind.God made me for aspecial reason. Hemade me for His pleasure. It makes Himhappy when I praise Him.I am wonderfully made. God made mespecial, and He wants me to thank Him.2

Job 33:4aThe Spirit of God hathmade me.Psalm 139:14aI will praise Thee; for I amfearfully and wonderfullymade.Psalm 100:3aKnow ye that the LORD He isGod: it is He that hath madeus, and not we ourselves.3

God Sees Me.God is so great that He can see me all thetime. There is no place I can hide where Godcannot see me. He sees when I do what’s rightand when I do what’s wrong. God sees when I’mhurt and when I’m lost and when I’m scared. Godsees everything.God seesright into me.He knows whenI’m angry withsomeone. AndHe knows whenothers hurt myfeelings. Hesees it all. Godsees me —inside and out.4

Genesis 16:13. Thou God seest me .Proverbs 15:3The eyes of the LORD are inevery place, beholding* the eviland the good.*Beholding means looking at or seeing.1 Samuel 16:7bFor the LORD seeth not as manseeth; for man looketh on theoutward appearance, but theLORD looketh on the heart.5

God Knows Me.God knows moreabout me than I knowabout myself. He knowseverything that has everhappened to me. Godknows everything thatwill ever happen. Heknows my name, myage, my address – eventhe number of hairs onmy head.God knows what Ithink and what I say. Heknows every time I’ve ever been sad or afraid.And He cares for me.God knows everything. Best of all, Godknows me.6

Psalm 139:1-2O LORD, Thou hast searchedme, and known me.Thou knowest my downsittingand mine uprising, Thouunderstandest my thoughtafar off.Psalm 139:4For there is not a word in mytongue, but, lo, O LORD, Thouknowest it altogether.7

God Loves Me.God loves memore than anyoneelse does. He knowseverything I do –even when I disobeyHim. And He lovesme still.His love for me isso great that it cannot be measured.God loves me somuch that He sentHis Son, Jesus, to save me from my sin. Jesusdied on the cross, so that I could live forever withHim. That’s how much He loves me!8

John 3:16For God so loved the world,that He gave His only begottenSon, that whosoever believethin Him should not perish,* buthave everlasting life.*Perish means to be punished and separated from God.1 John 4:19We love Him, because He firstloved us.1 John 3:1aBehold, what manner of lovethe Father hath bestowed uponus, that we should be called thesons of God.9

God Caresfor Me.God protects me. He keeps me safe fromharm. He also provides what I need. God givesme a place to live, clothes to wear and food toeat. Jesus said that the Lord even cares for littlesparrows. He said I am worth far more than manysparrows to Him.Even whensomething badhappens, I knowthat God cares forme. He promisesto give me what Ineed, and I canbelieve Him.10

Hebrews 13:6aSo that we may boldly say,The Lord is my helper.1 Peter 5:7Casting* all your care uponHim; for He careth for you.*Casting means throwing.Philippians 4:19But my God shall supply allyour need according to Hisriches in glory by Christ Jesus.11

God Calls Me.God doesn’t call myname out loud for everyone to hear. But Hedoes talk to me. I canread what He says inthe Bible. He wants meto listen to Him.God calls me, because He wants me toknow Him. By readingthe Bible I learn aboutHim. He tells me whatHe’s like. When I pray, Italk to Him, too. And Hepromises to listen.12

Isaiah 55:3aIncline your ear,* and comeunto Me: hear, and your soulshall live.*Incline your ear means listen carefully.Mark 10:14bSuffer* the little children tocome unto Me, and forbidthem not: for of such is thekingdom of God.*Suffer means let.Matthew 11:28Come unto Me, all ye thatlabor and are heavy laden,and I will give you rest.13

Jesus Diedfor Me.The Lord Jesus wasgood and kind, butpeople didn’t love Him.They did not believeHe was really God, sothey were cruel to Him.They beat Him and spitin His face. Then theyhung Him up on a crossto die.But the good news is that Jesus knew Hewould die. It was God’s plan. He died onpurpose to pay the price for my sin. If I trust inHim, Jesus will wash away all my sin.14

1 Corinthians 15:3. Christ died for our sins .1 Thessalonians 5:10Who died for us, that, whetherwe wake or sleep, we shouldlive together with Him.Romans 5:8But God commendeth His lovetoward us, in that, while wewere yet sinners, Christ diedfor us.15

Jesus Rosefor Me.After the Lord Jesus died on the cross, somefriends wrapped His body and placed it in atomb. But Jesus didn’t stay dead.He had promised the disciples that He wouldrise from the dead after three days. And that’sjust what He did!Jesus rose from the dead for me. Now He’salive forever in heaven. If I trust Him as my Savior,I will go there to be with Him someday.16

Matthew 28:6aHe is not here: for He is risen,as He said.Revelation 1:18aI am He that liveth, and wasdead; and, behold, I am alivefor evermore.Romans 4:25Who was delivered for ouroffenses, and was raised againfor our justification.17

Jesus Livesin Heaven.The Lord Jesus is inheaven now. He sits rightnext to God the Father.And he promised that Hewould prepare a placefor me there. Because Ilove Him, I can live inheaven too.Jesus died and roseagain for me. Now He’sin heaven, but He sentthe Holy Spirit to livehere in me until I go toheaven.18

John 14:2In My Father’s house are manymansions:* if it were not so, Iwould have told you. I go toprepare a place for you.*A mansion is a beautiful house.John 14:19bBecause I live, ye shalllive also.1 John 2:1bAnd if any man sin, we have anadvocate with the Father, JesusChrist the righteous.19

Jesus WillCome for Me.Jesus promised thatHe would come backagain. The Bible saysthat Jesus will come inthe clouds, and He willtake everyone who believes in Him to heaven.When we get toheaven, our bodies willbe new. I won’t ever besick or hurt. No one willever die again.Heaven is a beautifulplace. The streets are made of gold. There will bemany homes there more beautiful than anythingwe can imagine.20

John 14:3bI will come again, and receiveyou unto Myself; that where Iam, there ye may be also.Revelation 22:20bSurely I come quickly. Amen.Even so, come, Lord Jesus.Hebrews 10:37For yet a little while, and Hethat shall come will come, andwill not tarry.21

Jesus IsMy Savior.Jesus loves me. He cares for me and protectsme. He died for my sin and wants to be my Savior. But I must believeHe paid the penalty forall my sin.If I trust Him, Hepromised to be my Savior. I can talk to Himright now, “Lord Jesus,I need to be saved.Forgive me for sinningagainst You. Thank Youfor dying on the crossfor me. I trust You to bemy Savior today andforever. Thank you forgiving me eternal life.Amen.”22

Acts 16:31. Believe on the Lord JesusChrist, and thou shalt besaved .1 John 4:14bThe Father sent the Son tobe the Savior of the world.Acts 4:12Neither is there salvation inany other: for there is noneother name under heavengiven among men, wherebywe must be saved.23

Jesus IsMy Shepherd.Jesus said He is like a shepherd. If I trust inHim, I am one of His sheep. He will take care ofme. He will protect meand give me everythingI need. He gave Hisown life to save me.Even though I willsometimes be afraid,He is with me. He willnever leave me. MyShepherd keeps mesafe.24

Psalm 23:1The LORD is my shepherd;I shall not want.John 10:11I am the good shepherd: thegood shepherd giveth His lifefor the sheep.Isaiah 40:11 He shall gather the lambswith His arm, and carry themin His bosom .25

Jesus IsMy Guide.The Lord Jesuswants to lead me. Hehas a plan for my life,and I need to followHim. He knows thebest way for me to go.Jesus will lead mesafely through eventhe tough times.The Bible is like a map. It shows me how tofollow Jesus. If I read the map and listen to myguide, the Lord Jesus, I will stay on the right path.26

Psalm 23:3bHe leadeth me in the paths ofrighteousness for His name’ssake.Psalm 48:14For this God is our God for everand ever: He will be our guideeven unto death.Proverbs 3:6In all thy ways acknowledgeHim, and He shall direct thypaths.27

Jesus IsMy Captain.Following Jesus isnot always easy. Sin,self and the devil areenemies that want tokeep me from doingwhat is right.Jesus will lead me.He is my captain. Hehas given me specialarmor to wear. Myshield is faith. Mysword is the Bible.Memorizing versesis part of learning to usethe sword. Fighting is hard sometimes, but mycaptain has given me all I need.28

Ephesians 6:11Put on the whole armor of God,that ye may be able to standagainst the wiles* of the devil.*Wiles means tricks.2 Timothy 2:3Thou therefore endure*hardness, as a good soldier ofJesus Christ.*Endure means stand up to something.1 Corinthians 15:57But thanks be to God, whichgiveth us the victory throughour Lord Jesus Christ.29

Jesus IsMy Lord.The word “Lord”means someone who ispowerful. The Biblesays Jesus is Lord ofLords. He is more powerful than anyone oranything.Jesus has alwaysbeen God. Even whenHe was born as a little baby, He was still the Lord.The Bible tells us that everyone will someday bowdown before Jesus and say that He is Lord. I cansay it now by choosing to follow Him.30

John 13:13Ye call Me Master and Lord:and ye say well; for so I am.Acts 9:6. Lord, what wilt Thou haveme to do? .Philippians 2:11And that every tongue shouldconfess that Jesus Christ isLord, to the glory of God theFather.31

God’s OnlyWay to HeavenAM I A SINNER?GOD HAS DONESin is something in me (badthoughts, lying, stealing, disobedience, pride, cheating, etc.).God hates sin. We can’t hide itfrom Him. Sin leads to eternalseparation from God in hell.EVERYTHING.Gods Word says:. all have sinned .Romans 3:23For the wages of sin is death.Romans 6:23aWHAT SHALL I DOABOUT MY SIN?Can I give God something niceto make Him forget it? Howabout going to Sunday school,church or Awana; or praying; orgetting baptized; or other gooddeeds? NO!God says:Not by [good works] which wehave done.Titus 3:5a32God gave His Son to be mySavior. God put Jesus on across to die for my sin in myplace.But God commendeth His lovetoward us, in that, while wewere yet sinners, Christ diedfor us.Romans 5:8IT HAPPENED ATTHE CROSS.Jesus paid for all my sin bydying, shedding His blood andthen rising from the grave andgoing back to heaven.For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for theunjust, that He might bring usto God.1 Peter 3:18a
