You will be required to enter your 4-digit PINon the terminal for transactions at merchant outlets. Your 4-digit PIN is being sent through SMS at your registered mobile number.Credit cards on American Express Network use an "Offline" PIN capability for Point of Sale (POS)/Retail transactions wherein the PIN isencoded onto the Chip embedded in your credit card.
