Overview Many of us dream of being rich and famous. Unfortunately, the majority of us aren’table to achieve both. There are some individuals, however, such as Bill Gates, whosaw the “window of opportunity” and took advantage of the situation. Theseindividuals not only earned the fame and fortune of being a successful entrepreneur,but many of them have made a tremendous impact on society. In this project, you’ll use the Internet to research the background of an entrepreneur.You’ll examine the person’s individual history and road to success. Using yourresearch, you’ll present your entrepreneur’s story and your recommendations for howto become a successful entrepreneur.

Objectives Search the Internet for information about a famous entrepreneurand determine the person’s road to success. Indicate how this individual demonstrated some key attributes of anentrepreneur.

Project Instructions1. Use Internet search engines to research a famous entrepreneur.oEither the entrepreneur and/or the business they started must be a common householdname.2. You can also go directly to the following business-related Web sites to find information:o Entrepreneur.como BusinessWeek.como Money.como Forbes.como Entrepreneurs.about.com

Create a “Hints” slide for your presentation, numbered from 10 – 1, from difficult to easy. Includethe following:o Date of Birtho Note-worthy accomplishments, either personal or professional.o Fun facts that are interesting to know about this person.o Approximate age when they became successful or famous.I suggest you do this slide last (even though it’s your first slide!)Each hint should have it’s own animation (on mouse click), so others can guess your entrepreneuras they read through each hint!
